Copper Panzer Clone Problem

Just recieved a Copper Panzer Clone, and got it setup with the only 510 atomizer I currently have (have 5 new ones on the way, can't wait) and it worked for a few minutes, until I swapped it for the base of a broken iClear 30B that had the clear tank break, just wanted to see what it would look like. Took it back out, and put the other atomizer back in, and now it won't fire at all. I don't know if the atomizer is making contact with the floating pin, that seems to be really stiff, or is it possible to short a battery and ruin it like that? I have genuine MNKE 1500mah High-Drains, so they arent cheap batteries. I read something about removing the pin and sanding down the "delrin" but I'm not quite sure what that is. Can someone help? Have a Rose Gold kayfun Lite Plus v2 and a couple badass RDA's arriving in a few days, and want to get this working before then. Thanks ahead of time

Putting your iClear pushed your floating pin down, you have to push it back up and then screw in the atty.

If you can't push it back up, it means you need to hit out the floating pin with a hammer and a blunt object and sand down the delrin (which would be too tight currently).

Thats what I figured. I hit the floating pin out and then put it back in and tried to push it up, but I couldnt get it high enough. I've read a few people talking about sanding down the delrin, but I'm not exactly sure which piece that is, and what the best method to do it is

Hi and welcome to ECF. What was the 510 atty you initially used? Have you tried taking it all apart and putting it back together nice and tight?

It was just some cheap, short little 1ml tank atomizer. Had it in the closet, just threw it on to test out the Panzer. And yeah, I took it apart several times, adjusted the contacts, made sure the switch was in right and working, and still won't fire. I'm coming to the conclusion that it is the floating pin thats causing the problem

The delrin is just the black stuff that holds the floating pin, you can get some sand paper, roll it up and sand it, periodically putting the pin back in to see if it will push up. Don't overdo it, as long as it as some friction around the pin you should be fine.

So specifically sanding down the inside of the hole the floating pin sits in?

Yes but you'll find that with switching tanks that hole will open up on it's own. Had the same issue with my Private v2 when it was new now I just quick tighten of the top cap to reset the pin when switching attys.

I had the same problem with my panzer clone and all you have to do is take off the top part that has the pin and the black delrin and place it on a table with the delrin facing up. Just push the delrin with a screw driver untill you feel it drop into place. (This will take quite a lot of force) hope this helps

I popped it out and sanded the inside of the delrin a little, the pin slides a little easier, but I couldnt get it above a certain point. I wrapped the top piece in a towel and used a bench vice to push the pin up. It went too high and took some fiddling with to get a Protank III on. Yet, the mod still didn't fire. Am I doing something wrong? Is there anything else it could be? Or can I assume it's my batteries? I'm trying to get a hold of a friend who has 18650's so I can test fire it with different batteries. I noticed when I put the MNKE's into my Nitecore i4, the lights dont flash anymore at all. I don't know if that is because they are fully charged, or if something is wrong with them. I do have a pair of VTC5's that will be here in 2 or 3 days, I hope they work. But I also don't want to ruin 2 more good batteries, if there is something that is wrong with my mod.
