re you using?
Well. After my post i just tore everything down switch and all, cleaned with alcohol and put back together. I've got 10 or more hits with out a miss fire. I'm now going to check if my other batteries work. (Samsung 25r and purple efest)

Are putting the Battery in with the Positive End pointed towards the Button?

A few things to check when you set up your new Coppervape: 1. Make sure the 510 and the bottle cap (the metal/silver) part are firmly in place. 2. You may need to adjust tour button screw. 3. The two small holes where the small magnets are seated may need to be sanded or filed. I just get a small piece of sandpaper wrapped around a small screwdriver and rub it around in both holes. As nasty as this sounds it works.

Hope you fixed it - cuz something must have been off...

I've had no trouble with any battery (25R, HG LG, 30Q, VTC5) and more surprising, every atty without adjusting. A couple atties sit a HAIR above the deck, but that's OK. And my button "throw" is just right - pretty short and a pretty light press...

Just got my second in, and after your post I checked - 510 and fire button are fine, though the battery DOOR is a little less than perfect on that one. I'm noaloxing it, but it just seems a little crude...

For batteries:
  • LG HG2's (Favorite batteries) Fit best, flush cap and the coin slot lines up perfect
  • SAMSUNG 30Q's fit well, cap protrudes a smidge
  • SANSUNG 25R's fit, but cap protrudes noticeably
  • Efest Non-Metallic Purple's (Don't recommend but I somehow have one) fit well
My battery collection is not very diverse, sorry

Kinda new in this thred, but has anybody here ordered the extra button kit, V1 or V2, on witch fits this one. I ordered the V2 as some said the Kit is V1. Any help would be appreciated as I always want to get back up things for tanks and mods.$26.32 Coppervape BF 18650 Mechanical Mod - authentic / stainless steel / 1*18650 / w/ 10ml dropper bottle at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The mod only versions use the v2 button kit. Be advised that the mod is actually all aluminum, not stainless steel.

Since you are not in the USA other places look to be a better deal than FT . It's the opposite for me , FT is faster & cheaper than other places.

FT cannot be touched for selection of e cig related gear however lol.
Thats it once we do usd to gbp conversion its not so cheap before june prices where low pound was high against the dollar now its dropped it now make it a lot more expensive , I still see others from UK saying a 12 dollar atty is only 5£ not anymore its now 9-10 £ they obviously are not checking Google or conversation rates , Gearbest lists in GBP so you actually get the real costs , Aromamizer Supreme RDTA is 29usd =(23.73£ )on fasttech and 19£ on Gearbest saving of 4£ or 4.89usd , once you do conversion fasttech is more expensive, 30Q sammy batteries are 19£ for 8 x 3000mAh ,Flash Sales which is less than half price than uk 6.99 4 x30q in uk costs around 26+£ then postages costs , but its buying them in the flash sales which is usually every few days if you find the item an just wait. Bargain can be had , Uk is just so much more expensive than everywhere else due to Our 20% vat on everything you buy save , earn , when looking at GearBest check if its in sale or mot makes a big difference if not give it a few days so it will be i just place stuff in my cart an check back morning an night saved hundreds that way

I have never had a miss fire , the mod is so basic and so simple to tune and adjust , the inside of the top cap is a piece of cake you can alter the shape of the metal contact to never have it misfire .

Simple simple simple

Same here.

Since the Battery can't move, and the Positive side is always at the same position, that's kinda Fool-Proof. The Button Throw is long enough to account for any Variances in Flat Top Heights. So No Problems there. And the Transfer Bar/Spring is making Hard Contacts with the Button/510 Pin. Not sure how that could be any Better?

About the Only place I could see a Possible Issue would be with the 510 pin in the Mod not making good Contact with the 510 Pin on the RDA.

Thanks NO :(

Also. Do you have any RTA's that you could Test Fire on your Coppervape?

If you screw another Atomizer on your Coppervape, and there Is a Gap and it works fine, then the problem Isn't in the Button or Contacts. It is a Problem with your RDA making contact with the Mod's 510 Pin.
