I have the full brass version with the newer improved atomizer. I purchased it from a fellow member here. I don't really care for it myself. I am just used to the Reo's, and I do not see this as any type of improvement. It is really just a cheaper alternative to a Reo with no safety feature, in my humble opinion.

If any member wants this full kit send me a PM. I will pass it along for what I paid, which is below wholesale.

Hey all - So I am looking for battery recommendations for the Coppervape. I have been running Sony VTC4s for the last 2 yrs, to be clear not continuously, but that has been my go to battery.

I can tell now that I am using a mech again a lot (Love this little mod) that I am not getting very good battery life. I have been seeing about 2 hours of good vape and after that the mod is not hitting as hard. Now I know that there is drop off as the battery drains, but I am not running that low of a build and I would expect to see closer to 4 hours before it starts to drop off.

The current set of batteries that I have been using is getting close to a year now and it is time for replacements. My question to the group is, is there a better battery out there or should I stick with my go to?

My normal build is Dual coils 7 to 8 3mm wraps of 26g kathal. It comes out to be between .5 to .6 ohms (Current build is at .61 ohms).

Let me know your recommendations to take a look at.

Im running lg hg2s in mine and so far I'm getting about 8hrs of run time on a .5ish ohm build. stainless heats a little faster though. might be something to look in to.

For a 20 Amp CDR Battery, I think these would be a Good Choice...

LG HG2 18650 3000mAh 20A Flat Top Battery

IMRBatteries is a Good Source of Genuine Batteries. Good Prices/Shipping also.

With the proliferation of fake LG HG2's I recently got some of the Samsumg 30Q's, also 3000 mah, and I'm pretty happy with them!
I vape in the same range - around 0.45 to 0.55 ohms...

(FYI, Mooch testing the two, downgraded the LG actual CDR to 15 from labeled 20, and upgraded the 30Q from labeled 15 to 18 actual. Either way - both good for 0.5 ohm vaping...)

Also - I was never pleased with VTC run times. I don't know and never measured carefully - but it FEELS like they drop sooner... could just be me...

With mechs you are going to change batteries more often than with a regulated mod. Regulated are "good to the last drop" when they shut off. For me, when my mechs get much below 3.5v the quality of the vape really falls off. Since I don't go below .2ohm I'm not concerned with max CDR and minimum sag. I just want the most mah I can get in a battery I can trust. I may go cheap on everything else, but with mechs I'm not about to scrimp on batteries. Hence, the AW 3000mah. Get extra batteries (with cases) and keep them charged up.

Thanks ThaFuzz, zoiDman, Train2, sonicbomb, crunchie812, BreSha6869, & TraderX for the suggestions.

I think I will pick up a couple of LG HG2 18650 3000mAh 20A Flat Top Battery since I am not planning on going below .5 ohms. I always from IMRBatteries now days. They are the only site that I trust to have authentics. I know there probably are a few other venders that still sell authentics but I don't know them.

Thanks again all for the suggestions, I know its time for new batteries & I wanted to see what others were using.

Alright , so im a week into this thing now and im loving it. havent touched the dripbox since the cv got here. juice capacity is enough for a day and a half. battery life is a little over 10hrs with yhe right build. stock atty went onto the movkin and the derringer lives on the cv. no misfires, a little wiggle at the top. all in all its super solid for the price and its a winner in my book to start squonking. maybe v3 will be a 22mm version?

Have you tried the VTC5 A batteries , slightly higher Amp than the vtc5 hits pretty well an consistently , throughout , i have 4 of these pretty happy with them , also have 20 x 30q 10 x lghg2 , 4 x vtc4 6 x 25r ,Glad i stocked up since UK customs have been stealing every ones batteries imported in , tested capacity on them all via opus bt v2 3100 charger on charge discharge tests , before using any , The VTC 5 A are not widely available but mooch recommendations for them as his go too ,was good enough for me ,

The LGhg2 that are now available are of lower grades , the Samsung 30q to me are actually doing better , and they dont have the reduced stocks either so you know your getting a slightly better grade with them

Well just ordered in some slighty longer vented m2.5
0.45 16mm long vented pins ( pictured above )
In the hope I can convert a few more atties ,
Would like to get the Virus RDA converted to bottom feed next , has just enough room under the clamps for a long enough bf pins to fill the deck , had to import these from states , 6mm longer than the pins i currently have , so hopefully enough to get through a slightly thicker base/deck ,which my 10mm are slightly too short , will know in a week or so when these eventually arrive , will also try them on my kennedy 24mm too (same problem 10mm too short ) why dont these mod shops just order in longer bf pin we could at least cut them down to allow us to convert more atties .
