Hopefully you'll see it that quick, but i wouldn't count on it.That's about the same as i have usually had with them, but with the Chinese New year and then the virus stuff everything still seems to be trying to play catch up,from all the Chinese vendors.I've got 2 orders out from them now, both ordered 1/24,one shipped 2/12 and the other shipped 2/15.Both have made it to Origin post is preparing shipment, but nothing after that for quite a while now. They could be sitting in U.S. Customs waiting to be cleared, but who knows,i'll get them at some point, but definitely not as fast as usual.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have a couple more things to order but figured I'd order one thing first to see how it goes before spending more money. Haha

FT has a big slider banner on their home page that links to a forum post alerting customers to their situation and how they are coming back to work.

That's more than I can say for most of these Chinese vape retailers who seem to think keeping their customers informed isn't that big a priority.

Service update: Due to Wuhan new coronavirus, some services will be delayed until February 17,2020. (Update February 21): FastTech Forums

The banner may have been there a while, but I rarely enter the site via the homepage.

Smart move haha.I got carried away when they had the CNY sales,so i ordered several things, knowing it wouldn't ship out for a few weeks, but i wasn't expecting the virus outbreak,so that held the stuff up longer than expected, but i figure it'll get here some day haha.Although my situation is a bit different,as the stuff i ordered is all just wants and nothing i need quick,so i;ll keep my fingers crossed for ya too,who knows it might help haha.

His channel sure grew 6k to 37k last time I noticed. Sadly Twitter decided blocking him was important killing off their status of global communications company. I think he is still on Instagram.

It will be interesting when our mental patients can't get their meds. - party on laugh it up.
Yeah, I was thinking about Folks with Mental challenges not getting their Meds.
Not enough Antibiotics to go around...Cancer Meds and the like.
Talk about a potentially Catastrophic situation.
I really hope not but this could get ugly.

What'd I miss? Who's being ......ed? Did you mean to quote someone?
Yes. It was a response to the OP.

I was going to order some stuff from fasttech and saw this on the website.

"Service alert: the ongoing coronavirus spread is placing China under defecto lockdown.
Local labor policy currently prevents staffs from returning to work as scheduled.
Customer service is available with limited capacity at this time as we work from home.
Shipping is now expected to resume normal service on February 10, 2020. More details to follow"

Is anyone worried about ordering from China?

I placed a small order Jan. 20 and emailed them a week ago and got no response from the email but saw a new banner saying they're behind on all the support tickets. The way things are going over there, who knows how long of a wait there will be.

This is why I didn't order from fasttech a month ago. Said on the site an item would ship in two days, yet I had doubts. Am stocked up, so can wait until the summer for further ordering there.:)

I hope this isn't the beginning of breaks in the Supply Chain already

Retailers were the first to get back to work it seems. I suspect many of them still aren't back full force if at all.

Manufacturers and the postal system seem to be the biggest problem in terms of products getting to customers or even retailers.

It seems at least some of their postal system is starting to get back to normal,i guess it depends on what part of he country they are in.One of my Ft packages shipped 2/12 and cleared through Chicago customs yesterday 2/25.
That was a big concern for me after their shutdown, was if the postal service was going to get moving again or remain shut down for a longer period,so i was happy to see the package moved along.

Okay, but be fair. All she posted was the quote from their website, and asked if anyone was worried about ordering from China. She didn't even make a statement. The name calling reply wasn't on target, because she didn't insinuate anything about FT or single them out, other than provide their own quote- then the general question of worries about China. She didn't even say she was worried herself.

And obviously, plenty of people are worried at least a little. You may think their reasons are invalid, but they could be worried about the virus itself, about really long delays in shipment, or even that it could get bad enough over there that some companies might go out of business. I doubt many over there are enjoying their "extended vacation."

How the coronavirus went global in two months
The novel coronavirus began in December in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, Hubei province. Now, it's reached 40 other countries and territories, and is spreading in Europe and the Middle East.

Take a look at how we got here:

    • December 8: First patient develops symptoms of coronavirus in Wuhan.
    • December 31: Earliest cases of virus reported to World Health Organization (WHO).
    • January 1: Seafood and wildlife market in Wuhan, where the outbreak is believed to have originated, is closed for disinfection.
    • January 7: Chinese authorities confirm they have identified the virus as a novel coronavirus.
    • January 9: First person dies of the virus, though his death wasn't announced until January 11.
    • January 13: Thailand reports its first case -- a Chinese national who had arrived from Wuhan.
    • January 16: Japan confirms its first case.
    • January 21: The United States confirms its first case.
    • January 23: Wuhan and several other cities are placed on lockdown, and Lunar New Year celebrations are canceled across China. WHO says virus is not yet a public health emergency of international concern.
    • January 28: Death toll tops 100. The number of confirmed cases in mainland China overtakes the deadly 2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak.
    • January 30: WHO declares a public health emergency of international concern.
    • February 2: A Chinese man dies in the Philippines -- the first coronavirus death outside China.
    • February 4: The Diamond Princess cruise ship is docked under quarantine in Japan's Yokohama Bay with more than 3,700 people on board.
    • February 6: Death toll tops 500 globally.
    • February 7: Chinese whistleblower doctor Li Wenliang, who was targeted by Wuhan police, dies of the coronavirus. Chinese social media is flooded with grief, anger, and calls for freedom of speech.
    • February 8: The US Embassy in Beijing confirms that a US national died in Wuhan on February 6, marking the first confirmed death of a non-Chinese national.
    • February 11: Death toll tops 1,000 globally. The WHO names the coronavirus Covid-19.
    • February 15: The first coronavirus death in Europe is confirmed.
    • February 17: American passengers on the Diamond Princess are evacuated out of Japan.
    • February 20: Death toll tops 2,000 globally.
    • February 23: Cases in South Korea surge past 600 after several hundred new infections were reported in 48 hours, with more than half the cases linked to a branch of a religious group. Italy also sees a spike -- cases rise from three to 152 over the same weekend.

FYI, nine days appears to be max lifespan of coronaviruses on materials like steel, aluminum, plastic, and glass. Personally plan to bag and closet for 2-3 weeks for safety. If in a hurry, suggest a 91% isopropyl alcohol bath for 15-20 minutes. Use the 91% concentration of isopropyl alcohol i.e. not 70%

After weeks of speculation, scientists have some sense of how long the novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV, now officially called SARS-CoV-2, might survive on surfaces and inanimate objects waiting to infect an unsuspecting host.

A new review suggests that SARS-CoV-2 – not to be confused with the newly-named COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus – could survive on surfaces and remain infectious at room temperature for up to nine days. Promisingly, the research also suggests that disinfecting agents such as ethanol (alcohol), hydrogen peroxide (bleach), and sodium hypochlorite (another bleaching agent) are generally very effective against coronaviruses.

Reporting in the Journal of Hospital Infection, virologists from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany reached these conclusions by evaluating 22 previous studies on other members of the coronavirus family, which includes SARS and MERS. The team actually intended to publish this analysis in an upcoming textbook, but the recently novel coronavirus outbreak provoked them to release their work as a study.

While no new original research was carried out specifically on SARS-CoV-2, the researchers argue their findings can be applied to the current coronavirus outbreak, as the results across all coronaviruses were comparable.

"Different coronaviruses were analyzed, and the results were all similar," Eike Steinmann, study author from Leibniz University Hanover, explained in a statement.

As per their findings, some coronaviruses can persist on surfaces at room temperature for up to nine days, although the average survived between four and five days. They also manage to persist on a number of different materials, including steel, aluminum, wood, paper, plastic, latex, and glass.

"Low temperature and high air humidity further increase their lifespan"

Good info, but keep in mind that they haven't actually tested this virus. May be similar results, but....

That doesn't mean that it will be still active and able to infect someone.
Viruses are loosing the ability to infect being outside the human(or other live creature) body for more than few hours (with some very rare exceptions).

Sure, but if you knew there was live virus on a drip tip, would you vape it that day? The next day? A week later?
