If I'm not mistaken even the CDC states the general public is at a low risk to catch Coronavirus... Unless you are at a higher risk job/situation like a healthcare professional or something obvious like working/association with people in beijing, China.

Maybe it's me but I've always felt like the news constantly propagates fear and misrepresents the facts for as long as I can remember.

I mean the TV isn't calling the Flu an epidemic even though the risk for death and contamination are very similar:

Flu = 2.1%
Coronavirus = 2.3% (death risk of those infected)

The corona virus has less than 5000 deaths worldwide (unsure of the official count right now) while the flu kills 291,000-646,000 people per year worldwide (according to the CDC) so it doesn't make sense to call one an epidemic but not the other. Same goes for Ciggerette(500,000 per year USA) deaths compared to vaping(50 in 10 years USA)

According to new estimates published today, between 291,000 and 646,000 people worldwide die from seasonal influenza-related respiratory illnesses each year

    Flu = 2.1%
    Coronavirus = 2.3% (death risk of those infected)

    Flu has a death rate of about 0.1% in US/Europe. With a rate of 2.1% we'd see millions of deaths yearly.

    2.3% for corona is also not the correct estimation, there are a Lot of cases when people recovered from it at home like a normal flu not reporting and not being tested + a lot of death cases are people over 65
    So for general public, the rate will be not more than 1% I believe.

    Literally anything anywhere could be contaminated.

    Things that could not be contaminated:
    The Sun
    The inside of a volcano
    Phoenix Airport in Summer time
    Probably a great time to climb Everest
    Museum pieces in display cases
    MOST places which just aren't contaminated
    My brain
    The vacuum of space.

    Come on now.

    I finally got a reply to my inquiry from Fasttech from a couple weeks ago.

    "Sorry for our late reply.
    Due to the new coronavirus, we are late to come back work as schedule, thanks for your understanding.

    I am sorry that the supplier delayed the 1425902 ETA during this special period.

    If you don't mind, can we change the 1476404 (1.8ohm) for you?"

    I'm getting my stuff all in one package but it's like doggy style replacement tanks, and 2 Cylons. Despite my mad love for that vape and the fact they well, sort of have a 3 year shelf life with me, I will happily accept 9 more years of cylon vaping (the one I killed, I can use the screws to fix the first one I killed) and I don't think there is a large line forming for cylons, even though in my opinion, there should be.

    I was all sad at me not ordering vape bands, but I have found the best solution even for BUBBLE tanks! Hairties! You just kinda twist them on there and like, overlap them in this webbing sort of way.

    I bet I would have broken like 2 bubble tanks this week without them. They look absolutely terrible and work great. I might not even BUY vape bands now, although I am guessing I shall have to buy more hair ties.

    For those of you who are curious the 0.7 mesh coil that "only goes in the N2S and the new N tank I assume) totally fits in a Kabuki. I tried it,.

    If you are all stocked up on coils (and yes I was) I SERIOUSLY do not advise it. The vape is SO GOOD that, well, IDK what I'mma gonna hafta do now.

    During times like these it never ceases to amaze me how quickly Humankind can degenerate into 11th Century thinking and actions figuring that its the Solution to the problem:evil:

    Not to pick at what you're saying overall, but using the term epidimic really doesn't have anything to do with severity- just the spread. When a strain of flu becomes widespread, you do hear the term epidemic at times.

    I do agree that from what I've seen so far, this virus doesn't seem to be significantly more deadly than some flu viruses (and there isn't A flu, but many different strains). But the speed of the spread, possibility for reinfection, and the fact they haven't developed treatment for it yet are what makes this so noteworthy. They know what to do with the others. This one, not so much yet.

    Not trying to be heartless here but if the virus goes from human to animal (that is seriously unusual for a virus to the best of my knowledge) we are all going to be pet free vegetarians for a while.

    Is that really confirmed? With the ability to catch the virus twice (sorry I don't read about epidemics anymore because it is so often BS, like complete nonsense.)

    I'm kind of impressed with this one, if that is genuinely the case. But the infection rate is low? I'm so confused. Is it a rapidly mutating virus or what?

    I'm going to guess the med is Tamiflu which like, I get the flu is very, very bad but well, if you don't vaccinate your kid I don't see why we hand out Tamiflu like candy either. If you choose not to vaccinate your kid, you WANT it to get the flu.
