(I hope)

I got a new juice order yesterday. Today I feel like crap. My lungs hurt and I'm coughing. It doesn't mean it's related but what if it is?

I have been vaping rip tide from pinkspot for about 6 months exclusively, this is my first all day vape that isn't ps. It's roughly the same ratio I usually get, same nic level. The only difference is that it has more menthol than I usually vape. It's a well known vendor and high quality juice so I know it's not that.

I spent quite a lot on the juice and I really love it but of course now I'm afraid that the juice is making my lungs hurt. I am coughing up mucus and I have a stuffy nose, so of course it could just be a cold (I hope). It's just the fact that it happened the day after I got the juice that makes me wonder.

Anyone ever have this sort of reaction to juice? Or am i just paranoid?

I made a particularly strongly flavored batch of my menthol DIY and got much the same reaction. I dialed back the menthol with the next DIY batch.

It's helpful to have a bottle of unflavored e-liquid with the same nicotine concentration as your flavored e-liquids. Then you can reduce the flavor without affecting the concentration.

For me it turned out to be a cold... really odd one and first I've had in 15 years. Its odd because over two weeks it came and went by the hour and then by the day. I would think I was over it for a few hours and bang back again. Then thought I was over it for a day and back with a vengance. After two weeks, vaping the same juice, its now gone for good. I think as vapers we worry about everything being cause by vaping. I hadn't had a cold in so long I think I forgot how they act. The worst part of this one was the thickness of the clear/white mucus... just impossible to bring up. Then I thought... wow... when I was smoking it would have been yellow.

It can absolutely be related, I got a certain flavor from one of my favorite vendors that I had not tried before and literally got nauseous after 5 hits. I was sure I was gonna be hunched over the porcelain throne but I was able to maintain. It was 100% the flavor itself as I usually don't go for those types of flavors and stick to a relatively small group of ADV's.

If they juice made you feel sick, switch back to your regular one and ditch the new stuff. Now that being said I don't think its dangerous I just feel like I would if I ate something very strange to me after being on a steady diet of the same core foods for a very long time.

Hope you are feeling better :D
