Yep. You'll get used to the wet and roll method.

P.S. trim the wet end before use.
It won't wet and roll. I tried that. Thank you so much, though. It keeps ripping and falling apart.

I told hubs to get good ole cotton balls or preferably the sterile cotton wrap in the medical section.

Reign, could you send me the link you get yours from, please?

I never could use cotton except one little bag I got at Avail vapor...it was decent. I never could vape the cotton taste out and it was sterile. I switched over to ReadyXWick a while back when I got some off of the classifieds. I use it and I believe my current wick is at least a week old. I like it.

Seems that it should be fine to vape with. A bit pricey perhaps, but you'll have to let us know how well it wicks and carries flavor - that'll be the most important part now that you already have it.
The only thing (could be a typo) that confused me is that the description says 5 feet, but it's listed as .5 meter pkg. that's quite a discrepancy.

just wick and go? :vapor::vapor:

If you boil, use distilled water. Tap carries too many minerals, etc. in it.
Boiling could clean off any residue from manufacturing and handling that could affect the flavor (and possibly what all you're vaping.
I use drug store cotton (100%) and boil and dry it before wicking with it.

What I use:

And the one Renorat suggested:

SHISEIDO Facial Cotton

I have heard good things about this one as well, probably would've tried it being cheaper but had already ordered KGD when I learned of it.

Sorry, I should have clarified why not to boil using tap water, thankfully AD explained why, thanks :)

How is that? A half time vaper/half time smoker gave me all of hers. Do you boil it first?

Tracey

Nah never boiled it...this is what i do...i have precut strips that i keep with me, i then when rewicking cut a strip in half, then split the cut stip as each one has 4 strands and as you can see in the pic:

the 2 stips folded fit perfectly or snugly inside the coils i build...i trim em to fit inside and then prime and vape :)

Edit: this is the one i think i bought way back when...got a forever supply with that one ball hehe
