cotton turning brown. weird flavor.

So Im vaping mango float. Dual parallel coil on igo w4, and although clear liquid, the cotton keeps turning brown and I get kinda throat hit (but a bit higher know my throat ) Usually no hit on this. I changed the coil and built another, same thing. What's happening? 0.4 now, 0.2 before. 26g a1 Kanthal.
Dunno why.

.2 -.4 ohms?? running quite warm there I dont know of any juice that isnt going to stay clean at that heat level....Cotton normally gets toasted ( as in turns brown) due to the heat. Plus the sweeteners in the juice will cook ans eventually char on the coil itself.....

Where is the juice from?

I've recently been reading more posts of people buying sweet/fruit juices with "real organic fruit" in the ingredients list. Not smart.

The more crazy crap they put in e-liquids, and the further away from straight/simple PG, VG, and Nicotine they stray, the more crap you get in the vapor.

You're probably literally caramelizing sugars, and most likely you're doing more "smoking" than actual vaping.

Whatever the case, it's quite obvious that e-liquid doesn't like the high wattage.

Sounds like cotton roast.

As per wikipedia, cotton can begin to decompose at temps as low as 150 Celsius. So if doesn't wick perfectly because of too much or too little cotton in the coil, flavour could go out the window fast...

I'm wicking cotton too occasionally - but not subohming...
