I caught Buster in the backyard eating his own production the other day. He was laying in the snow just chomping away on frozen turd balls. His eyes glazed over, squinting, like it was the tastiest thing on earth.

I am still recovering.
Coprophagia.

This might help.

Good luck!

And another cotton pvs rayon thread goes sideways to the dogs.

Since I was the offender let me try to bring it back.

I have used both rayon, and various brands of cotton, including cotton bacon.

I have heard rayon has to be wicked a certain way. It could be because of the atty I was using but I just wick, nothing special and it does fine.

I run both cotton and rayon rather loose in my attys and don't really notice a difference in performance-- vapor production. Flavor seems slightly decreased with rayon.

One thing though with rayon is I can go longer between rewicks. Also, I can switch between flavors with rayon, whereas cotton seems less forgiving when doing so.

Cotton gets the nudge, but only slightly.

Please don’t, it’s all in good fun! If we can’t have fun while debating the pros and cons of wicking material, why are we here

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
bought plenty of both years back

I bought so much Muji 2 years ago on clearance I doubt I'll need any for at least 10 years (literally), and that doesn't account for the large pack of Puff I have never used yet.

I prefer Rayon, but proper wicking is critical

You are batting 0.500, not bad for an ole guy. Everyone, with refined taste, has long understood that Watts rule the world of taste.
You're both wrong! Joules rules!!

I used rayon for a long, long time. Now I use whatever is closer to my hand while I'm building. That's usually cotton. I will admit I've gotten a bit lazier as of late, and do not use the organic cotton pads anymore... PITA to cut to size. I just unroll a cotton ball and strip it down. Also, a cotton ball unrolled and folded back on itself is just about perfect for mesh based atties (Kylin M, Profile, et. al.)

I question that cotton bacon is actually cotton. It doesn't look, feel, taste or act like cotton. Some folks have said they think, if there is real cotton in it, it's a cotton/cellulose blend, which seems likely.

Claims to be 100% organic cotton. But it doesn't say that on the bag.

Wouldn't it be something if I, who doesn't like rayon, have been using rayon all along.
