Hi,
I thought I'd share this, in case any of you might like to use this little tool too...
I was about to re-wick my Obs Crius and wick my brand new Vaporesso Gemini for the first time and suddenly got an idea. Both have velocity style decks with juice channels covered with rings which you stuff a little of your cotton wick down into. In my experience, you have to be pretty careful while doing so, stuffing it loosely, to avoid dry hits (or "browned" hits). It's also an advantage to really fluff the upper part of your wick (and in general; Less is More
). I have used a needle or very fine pointed tweezers to do this in the past, but now I got this idea. You see, on impulse, I bought this little (stupid!) tool for cleaning your hair brush a while ago. It consists of a tiny little rubber handle with a bunch of wires in it, almost like a little whisk with a few mm at the very tip of each wire bent 90 degrees. It was completely useless for it's original purpose (IMO), but for some reason, I did not throw it in the garbage. Now I came to think of it and wondered if it might be useful as a wicking tool... I have since used it 3-4 times, I use it's tip as a hair brush on the wick and just a few of it's wires to stuff/adjust the cotton in the juice channel. Very nice, actually! I'm using it's very tip as an itty bitty brush or a little of it as a stuffer.
What do you know, that useless hairbrush tool became a useful vaping tool that has made a permanent move into my vaping toolkit! ;D If some of you might be interested, here it is:
