Time to play with some left over sheets of SS mesh,
Sooooooo,,,,

Rebuilt a Kangertech OCC coil head with a simple 26 ga. Kanthal 4 wrap around a 3.5mm coil jig.
Then twisted SS mesh tightly into a .5 to 1. mm barrel, than wrapped cotton onto the SS barrel tightly and fit it through the juice port hole, through the coil and out the other juice port hole. Clipped the Cotton / SS wick and threw into a tank.
( The holes on the OCC coil head were drilled out to 4mm. )

I'm impressed with the first hour of heavy vaping so far.
80/20 Juice wicks very easily.
.6 ohm coil build running 18watts gets medium clouds and good taste.

Was expecting a bit more , but it works nicely.

What the FDAholes can't take away from us is our hobby.

Is it still holding up good for you?

NO
It was not worth it, at all.
I really was just playing with old e-cig supplies from years ago in expectation to find something new that could WOW me.
It all comes down to how the coil is wicked for that optimum performance.
Not to much, not to little. Not to tight, not to loose.
And since re-building coils cost pennies, I find changing them out after 5-10ml of juice gets me good flavor and vapor performance all the time.
The sweet pastry juices I like gunks the coil and wick quickly, so changing them out often gives me a great vaping experience.

Some say coils last them for weeks. At 7-10ml a day e-liquid usage, I would not get that great satisfaction from vaping after 20-30 ml through a coil and wick.

I switch my tanks up often ( Kangertech Plus, Nano, Mini, Aspire Atlantis, Arctic, Vostro, Goliath, Zephyrus, Goblin, Fogger ), and a few more.
Keeps the vaping experience new as I find a tank great for a week, then just ok a week later. It was Goblin and Zephyrus this weekend but it seems I always go back to the Kangertech Sub Tanks as my favorites. Easy to rebuild there RTA as well as there stock OCC coil heads.

As of late, its ( 1.2 - 1.5 ) ohm coil builds in the Kt. OCC and RTA head at 18 to 21 watts.
Gets great flavor, vapor and the battery lasts a long time.
