I have read and re-read so many things I lost the links. Anyway a few questions. Chain vaping-if you do this can you tell me how much juice you use in a day? I dont chain smoke but when Im at my puter or gambling I smoke like a chimney. I dont want nic od. How may drags do you usually get out of a cart before you need to refill it? Just a guess. I know it would depend on how long of drag it is but Im still getting a burnt taste? Not really sure how to put it. Could it be the flavour juice Im using? Stupid newbie questions. But everyone started as one. If you could point me to the right posts I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I go through about a 10 ml bottle of juice in 5-7 days, now I don't know if that's extreme or not but that is what I use. When the flavor or vapor starts to dwindle I add some more so my cart is never to dry. I do notice when it is close to low there is more vapor but there's a close line to low liquid & the burnt taste so I guess it's all timing. I have 1 I drip into & I get about 5 good hits before I have to drip again. As for where to send you here I'm not sure I just roam around until I see a thread that might be useful to me @ any particular time.

    Somewhere between here and there
As far as the burnt taste I would say that it is most likely from the atty being too dry. When you take several successive draws it doesn't allow time for the liquid to wick from the cart to the atty. You might try dripping a drop right on the atty when that happens. Also there is a sticky by DonDaBoomVape called the illustrated guide to vaping that would probably be helpful. I am on my phone so can't get the link right now but I think it is in the new members section.

    See your previous topic.
It's a combo of nic. level & amount.
DVap has researched it & come up w/ a good formula.
    EXAMPLE 1PK/DAY
    DVap said:
We had 20 full flavor analogs per day delivering 20 mg of nicotine per day. I've found that we need to vape 2.5X the nicotine, or 50 mg/day, so we might vape ~2.5 mL of 20 mg or ~1.5 mg of 36 mg. We're putting ~ 50 mg of nicotine onto the atomizer coil because of that 50 mg, only 40% or 20 mg of nicotine makes it into the vapor and into our bodies. So by vaping 50 mg of nicotine per day, we are delivering 20 mg of nicotine per day to our bodies.

    Most are vaping 2-3ml/day.

I'm vaping between 4-5 ml/day. I'm using a 5v passthrough (high voltage for me = massive flavor and massive juice usage) attached to a battery power pack and am CONSTANTLY vaping away at the thing. It's not a nicotine issue for me, it's all of these friggin flavors and even at 0 nic, big clouds of vapor makes me happy. I usually vape away at a 12mg/ml solution which for most people is very low but I'm also happy to spend hours vaping 0 nic stuff also. It's still very new to me though, I go totally overboard with all new hobbies.

Easiest no-hassle mod for cartridges is IMHO the B.F.D. mod - great thread on it here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/58690-b-f-d-cart-mod.html
I didn't really measure like they did but I've made one of these for all of my cartridges and it's super easy, super cheap and super wonderful. I used a slightly different material but same idea (aquarium filter). It wicks a lot faster than the polyfill that comes in the cartridges.

Burnt taste = dry atomizer. You need to upgrade your carts to the bfd mod. You will get a slightly less flavorful hit right before the burnt taste and you can pop out the dart, drop another 8 drops and be back to happy vaping in no time at all.

Also, juice in the mouth is a flooded cart/attie. Blow the juice out of the attie, stick your modded cartridge back on, wait 5 seconds and vape away.

ml usage is based on the voltage of your device, and the amount of time spent vaping. I might suggest if you want to avoid burnt taste try direct dripping. Way better flavor!

i totally agree with this. i thought that my juice had "spoiled" or was over aged, or that my atty was all gunked up with burned juice residue, turns out it was the flavor of the polyfil. Nasty stuff. i am a driect dripper and have had few other issues with nasty taste since, except when the atty is getting too dry, then there is a little bit of funkiness, but it is solved by adding 1 or 2 drops
