OK, what do you guys think about an iGo battery with the new ECHO cartomizers that last for weeks (if not months)? Would they work with each other?

I really want the iGo because it's 4.2v and has an 1100 maH manual switch battery. But, i really want the ECHO because the cartos last for months.... but it's an automatic.

If 901 and 808 threading are really the same thing this could be perfect. It sounds too good to be true, right? What am I missing here?

would you post more information on the echo cartomizers?
when you say "lasts for months", is that before throwing away?
I have IGO cartomizers that I have been using over 5 weeks without a problem.

I think the echo is 510 compatable not kr808 compatable, but then there are so many different configurations of the echo in china who knows for sure.

Here are two links to Echo Cartos... 3ml Cartomizer for ECHO eGo Electronic Cigarette | Echo 3ml Cartomizer | Prefilled Echo Cartomizer Blank Echo Cartomizers

New Echo Electronic Cigarette Plus 20ml E-Liquid - Electronic Cigarettes | E Cigarettes | SmokePower.com

In that second link it says that the cartos can be used over and over hundreds of times.

The text I'm quoting below is obviously translated from Chinese to English, but it's fascinating. If these cartos would fit on an iGo I would be in vape heaven.

1. New technical breakthrough--Cup shaped matrix to get rid of the burnt smell of atomizer/cartomizer following e-liquid depletion;

2. Refillable with e-liquid for over hundred times, and that's easy: simply remove the filter and you could drip the e-liquid into the cartomizer;

3. It could hold up to 3ml of e-liquid (when comes with our own battery which enlarge the containing size of cartridge in the ECHO) that could last around 1,000 puff!

4. Our own battery is available in 1300mAh that could last 1,300 puff

They say that there are threading kits to use these cartos on an eGo.

Like i said, their Echo units are only automatics (for now - manuals are in the pipeline) but WOW!

Michelle had a great question, Bill.... does the voltage drop off on the iGo or does it stay pretty strong through the battery charge? Also, once you refill an iGo carto several times does the performance drop off?

Thanks in advance! :)

yes...901 and 808 threading might be the same but still might not work because.... the 808 has a slit on the base of it for air flow...the 901 doesnt have that. i screwed on a 901 carto(at least i think it was a 901) and whie it screwed on fine, threading was perfect, i wasnt able to get any air through the mouth piece....after staring it down for a minute i notices that the 808 has a slit in the middle post(in the carto) but the 901 doesnt. if im way off base here with my model numbers someone will correct me.

I think Drew pretty much answeared that question. he said it was the same. I may get a volt meter in the morning and find out for my self.

as far as performance i have not notced any difference after cleaning. Those echo cartomizers you are looking at are the same as the IGO cartomizers only different threads and different hype.

What method are you using for cleaning the carts, thisguy, and how often do you clean them?

Also, is this the type of battery you should drain before charging or does putting it on the charger at any time hurt it in any way?

For cleaning, I'll use Billb OKCs method, has worked just fine for me with other carto's in the past. Been a little over two weeks and I still haven't felt the need to clean one yet, taste and all is still great, but may clean clean them pretty soon to satisfy my OCD.

As far as the batteries go, I can't answer your question with any fact. I can tell you what I did. I took one and got to vaping and put the other on the charger. Ran the first one dead and by that time the other was charged and just switched them out.

Hope this helps.
