Hey neighbor, yea none for us in Pittsburgh so I've been using Absolut 100 the only 100 proof I could find. Great for cleaning and I use a little in my DIY mixes for a little extra TH. as far as cleaning I haven't tasted any aftertaste at all as long as it's dried, In my mixes I really don't taste vodka at all. Everclear is available at military commissaries here if you have any friends that use them

Awesome! GO STILLERS N 'AT! lol.

Do you have a vodka aftertaste when when you clean yours? And how about adding it to the juice? Does that give it a vodka taste?

I'm planning on a coke bath for 2 hours, and then a vodka bath for 2 hours, then rinse with hot water. Hopefully this will be sufficient, and then dry for a couple of hours. Any thing wrong here?

You can't find Everclear 190 in Pittsburgh because...

It's illegal in OH, CA, PA, ME, MN, VA, WA, WV, HI, NY and FL

You should be able to find the 151. I wonder if Bacardi 151 would work?

That was the only 151 I could find, Bacardi Rum 151. It wasn't clear, so I was leary of it, plus it was $21, vs $7.99 for the vodka. Cant justify spending $21 for a cleaner, because that stuff is certainly not something I'd ever drink probably.

ETA: I know they sell everclear in TN, which is where I'm from, and I'll be going home in a couple of weeks to visit. I wonder if there are any laws about transporting across state lines.

My car cleaning supplies cost more than that!

lol anyway... funny story about the Bacardi 151.

- friend of mine asked me one night if I felt like drinking.. and I said yeah.. and he went and got his bottle of bacardi.

we're pounding them down.. shot after shot for like 20 minutes. 3/4 thru the bottle he goes "Ohhhhhhh nooooooo. No wonder it tasted like lighter fluid! I brought down the 151.. We're gonna feel this pretty damn soon."

And... thats all I remember from that night! lol

I know you can transport across state lines but there is a limit. I'm sure there's no problem with a few bottles. Let me know I'd gladly meet up with you to buy a bottle. One of my son's friends in the Air Force and told me he could but it at the commissary by the air port, he's supposed to pick me up a bottle but he's out of town right now.

It wouldnt be just a cleaner if you drank some in a rum and coke. Could work both ways LOL
