When working with RBAs, it's necessary to have a resistance meter. A digital multi meter is the best idea. They can be found rather cheaply. If you use a variable voltage device which allows you to check ohms, such as a Provari, Vamo, ZMax, VMax, etc., you can use it. The important thing is to always check your resistance, before firing the coil.
