My mom is about to try this thing out after seeing me cut my smoking down to half (gonna quit smoking in a couple weeks--pray for me!)
She had a couple interesting questions that I wasn't sure about....

Does the vapor attach itself to walls, fabrics, etc the way cig smoke does? There is no smoking in her house and she is wondering about chain-e-smoking. Will is eventually leave a residue on the paint?

Does it eventaully smell? Non-smokers, can you smell it? Can never-smokers smell it? Us cig smokers have a deteriorated sense of smell, can your non-smoker freidns detect the e-cig? Can they smell it in your clothes, furniture, etc?

Not that it will change mom's mind, I just couldn't answer these questions using my e-cig for only a couple months. Thanks in advance for your answers!

There is a smell, like cookies or mint depending on flavor.

Yeah, there's a hint of a smell according to some people, but in my case it just smells like mint, no bad odors, and it doesn't stick to your clothes and walls. At work, my partner would always smell me coming in from a cig break, but now that I'm vaping, she says she doesn't smell anything. The smell is just there if you happen to catch a whiff of the vapor while vaping, it doesn't linger as far as I have been informed.

babachoo i must correct you about it leaving a residue if vaped in a car it will leave a noticeable film but that is corrected by opening a window. normal the vaper is seems out water or mositure then it get weighted down and breaks down and no residue but with out air flow it will collect on glass surfaces

Lordmage......I have not been able to determine if the residue on my car windows was from vaping or the remnants of my analog days?...I have yet to do my spring car clean-up! Fortunatly enough I can vape with the windows open now!:)The Wiz!

I started vaping bc my girlfriend hated the secondary smoke issue and the smell. She claims that she does smell it, but, only when I am vaping. She has not smelled it on my clothes or anything else.

She actually vapes 0 nic on occasion.

Hi there Gem,

If your mom remembers "Ozium, the Glycol-ized Air Sanitizer," propylene glycol, the same stuff in personal vaporizers, is what's responsible for the light mist. I don't remember ever seeing Ozium coat anything, and it was a standard fixture in our bathroom for years.

Does the vapor attach itself to walls, fabrics, etc the way cig smoke does? In my exeriance any residual smells are gone after about 60 seconds There is no smoking in her house and she is wondering about chain-e-smoking. Will is eventually leave a residue on the paint? It's doubtful, since the vapor doesn't contain all the tar and junk in a cigarette, discoloration of paints and other objects is extremely unlikely (like cigs turned your fingers brown after a while, e-cigs don't)

Does it eventaully smell? Non-smokers, can you smell it? Can never-smokers smell it? Us cig smokers have a deteriorated sense of smell, can your non-smoker freidns detect the e-cig? Can they smell it in your clothes, furniture, etc? I did a little experiment with this one earlier this week, my little sister is alergic to cigarette smoke, in addition to her alergies she has asthma so when she's around an analog cigarette her throat will literally close up and prevent her from being able to breathe. (with her permission) I puffed up a huge Cheech & Chong style cloud of vapor directly in her face. She laughed and said that the vapor was cold and made her want ice cream (I use strawberry juice). To get HER seal of approval on something even remotely associated with smoking is a big thing. She's the most avid anti smoker I've ever met.
