OK my first question is that when do you know when a battery is going bad? I have egos that just won't thread on any of the three chargers I have. Do they get stripped out? I have a charger specifically for my X6's and my EVod and at times those don't want to twist into the battery either. The EVod is the worse. I am about to throw that thing away. It just doesn't seem to want to stay on the charger. Anyone else have any charger issues with egos and evod?

Second question, I just got my first provari. My protank II fits like a glove and works beautifully. My aerotank keeps giving me an E 1 error. I have removed it and reapplied it as well as dropped the voltage and it still won't work on the provari. Any suggestions or reasons?

Sometimes gunk builds up in the 510 connection and or the charger threading, ego chargers strip quite easily if over tightened.
Keeping both connections clean & not over tightening usually helps with longevity.
Ego batteries usually stop charging or won't hold a charge long when they go bad.

Could be the aerotank positive pin isn't making contact with the positive pen in the provari 510 connector or the head is bad/ shorted.

I get an E1 error code with my Aerotank v1 on my ProVari a few times a day. it, so far, has always meant I've tightened it down too much. I simply back it off a quarter turn and it fires like a champ.

Just be aware that even the same model of tank (ProTank, Aerotank, Nautilus, etc) can have a different 'sweet spot' with regards to mounting. I keep my tanks color coded by their glass, so I know just how tight to make them for a great vape. With that being said, i still manage to overtighten my Aerotank several times a day... ;)
