I was just wondering what peoples takes were on this mod, or if anybody had one?

I keep reading more and more on VV and think I'm about ready to take the plunge, I've been noticing this guy on CoV and its on sale at the mo.

It looks shockingly similar to the LT, is it just a rebrand of it?

COV VV Mod in Black

Yes that a "LT" that they called a different name. There seem to be different manufacturers but I'm not sure as they are made in China..it could be being made on the same assembly line but being wholesaled by different wholesalers. If you read the description of these at most sites it's word for word the same too..another thing that I think is possible is the parts are being made in one place and different places are assembling them or they could just be using the same exact plans too...

OK good to know, as I was blown away by the uncanny similarities haha

I'm starting to notice a good bit of this "rebranding" or whatever it may be called. I can see how it would leave some holes for knockoffs to make their way in.

Are there any sites that offer "kits" for a spot cheaper? I really like CoV, but I'm not quite made of money at the moment lol It comes to around $70 with 1 battery, charger, and eGo - 510 adapter.

Lost my wallet on Saturday, having to deal with a cancelled debit card and not being able to order juice! Evil situation I thought I'd be able to avoid in my first month of vaping :p

I got mine here Variable voltage mod $59.99 + $3 shipping..ordered it on a late Friday evening got it in the Monday morning mail. Probably would take a lot longer to you though as it's in MD. which is less than 500 miles to me. He also sells eGo adaptors for $1.99

I trust these are good batteries, etc? That is a much better price than I was looking at paying (sorry CoV :p)

Under heavy use I get a day out of each of them..but usually as I use other devices I only find myself charging 1 of them about every 2 days (take into account I use mine mostly at 4.2v and higher volts will drain them faster). I did some searching and as far as I can tell these are Sanyo batteries minimum 1500mAh but typically 1600mAh with a constant discharge rate of at least 15a.

In simple terms I think they are good batteries..they make better by around 500mAh's but these hold up pretty good. If you buy the kit like all lithium batteries after a couple charges they seem to hold there charge better..I think they require a break in period.

Also if you look on his site he is selling the 1.5v LT for $10 more and I believe the blue batteries with that kit are around 1800mAh but the 1.5v doesn't come with a eGo case or atomizers. The atomizers with the kit wouldn't be missed but they are ok..he is selling the Lambo chrome version too but it's a lot more at $99.

I just ordered one-they had a silver one on clearance (device only) for $35, plus they give you a discount code right in the product description; it'd be cool if it was on a par with the lavatube.

Got it-yes, it is almost exactly like a lavatube; looks the same, works the same, although they seem to have cheaped out on the firing button-seems to have a very weak return spring; I don't know how that compares to a 'lavatube' branded device, but at this price I can live with that; I got probably the last silver one on clearance-they have a few more black ones (about $10 more)
