Crackling sound???

My eGo-T has a slight crackling sound when I vape. I'm getting great vape, but was just wondering about the sounds. Can you tell I'm a nubee?

Perfectly normal. That sound is air escaping. It's okay to be a "nubee" we were, and some of us still are, there at one point

Every time I read a post like yours I have no choice but to load up a fresh carto and "crackle" away. Clearos are great but there's nothin' like the sweet sound of a fresh carto.

If you aren't hearing that you are not getting the full impact/flavor and it's time to change cartos, or wipe off the battery threads, bottom of cartomizer, etc.

The "crackle and pop" sound is the sound of satisfaction!!!

Just fired up some Boge cartos. First time I ever used one. It do make a nice crackling sound. Adds a little to the experience if ya ask me.

Sizzling and frying are the signs of a good vape. A crackle and a pop here and there are even better! It's normal. It means that your coil and juice are at the optimum temperature. When that starts to go away, it means the carto is nearing replacement time or the atomizer needs to be cleaned. The taste will change a little also as the coil gets coated with dried juice residue.

However... Photon - the original OP - is getting this sound from the eGo-T (atty and tank), if I understand correctly. I haven't used my eGo-T atties for a long time, but I don't remember getting that sound.

I've been using an EMDCC for a couple of days, and just recently had a drop of hot liquid pop it's way through the rubber mouthpiece on a big "crackle" or pop....I'm sure glad the mouthpiece tapers down to a pretty fine opening - i imagine there's lots of spiting that happens inside these things when it's crackling and popping. Anyways, GTK that it's the sound of it working properly...

I never get pops/crackles from an atty ... but cartos all the time (unless it's DOA). I love that sound but it is annoying if you are trying to sneak a vape in a theater
