I dabble in woodworking and really enjoy making pens. My son was here last year with my grandsons and saw this one and I gave it to him. That necessitated making another for his wife. The only pen I have managed to keep for myself is what I call a mistake. I had the center die reversed. Oh well, at least I have one for myself. LOL View attachment 598053
Thanks! I thought it was going to be a PITA to take pictures of the photos and post them here and on my FB, but it was a really easy thing to do while waiting for time to go to Mass. I work with a quilting group at the local Methodist church that donates their work to various charities.
I really should get my Mama to send me a photo of my quilt that my elderly neighbors (at the time), my mom and I quilted together when I was about 6 or 7. Otherwise the only other crafty thing I did was make those potholders with that plastic loom (?) thingy.
Since fall is here I got the bug to start crocheting again and found this shawl pattern. So started working on it but the pattern has been a challenge Not hard stitches just getting the right stitches in the right place on a corner row is a bit of a challenge LOL! But fun to do a new project. Using some superwash wool yarn in shades for blue for mine.
Aside from coils the only things I made so far were simple wooden tank stands for storing my loaded tanks. But when I saw this thread I had to post and when I have the time I will read it from the beginning to see and enjoy the creativity of other vapers. Maybe get some ideas to use!
