Hi! Looking for a substitute for cigarettes! Reason why I use to smoke as a coping, now I trying to uses other coping skills that work better than cigarettes. Which are working real well for me.

Although the cravings still exist to smoke.
Every alphbetical letter I have been typing during this last little part of typing this forum I have been think and inhaling deep imaging that I have been smoking camels 99 or wides. I have over the years smoke a large variety of cigarettes. Though I cut back to camels lites for about the last year.

I am looking for soming to calm the craving gradually and gracefully.
Looking for soming that does not have nicotine, or tacbacco, of flavour. That is portable and not likely to explode or catch on fire. Most likely somesome sort of vape cigarette that does not realy resemble cigarttes with a mouth piece that will not break my teeth if it bumps my teeth or collides with my teeth. Thank to anyone who can commet on this post and give feed back.

Welcome and glad you joined. Suggest you stay out of sub ohm coils to start. An automobile is more"likely to explode or catch on fire" if used improperly than a regulated mod.

I always suggest couple of these to try it out. Since you want cig style vape and no flavours it should be perfect. Very small, I still use mine as a pocket stealth vape when I'm out or in public. You can always upgrade the tank to something better later like an Evod Glass, K1 or Nautilus mini etc if you like it.
    $4.44 EVOD-MT3 650mAh Rechargeable E-Cigarette Starter Kit - 1.5ml / 2.4ohm / USB charger / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Good suggestion (except shipping time) but anyone trying and original single coil generic EVOD, be sure to get some of the genuine Kanger coils for it (2.5 ohm, maybe 2.2), put that in immediately, once you get used to what a correctly working unit is like then you can try the coil that came with it because you'll know what it's supposed to be like.

Re: the OP, there's also "pod mods", look around here for more, they do tend to emphasize nicotine in prefilled brands (Juul), but some are finding these very convenient and light (I've gone down all the learning curves with the EVOD so have no real plans to change my pocket vape). Your description of what you want does emphasize negative points, which seems common among smokers considering (or rejecting) vaping. If you can't do nothing, the important thing is not smoking, and if vaping the way to that it needs to satisfy. Pure nicotine isn't addictive in the same way whole tobacco is, tobacco flavors range from awful to awesome but not one really tastes like a cig, etc. Not that you necessarily need any of that but be open to it.

As someone else suggested, the Joyetech Ego AIO is the device I started with and have used to help two relatives transition with. Easy to use, small and simple. You can choose 0mg liquid if you don't want nicotine, but finding a flavor you really enjoy and want to reach for is just as important as the device you choose. Best wishes and welcome!

    Hi Drumx
The only thing I can think of that will calm the craving gracefully and doesn't have nic in it are major tranquilizers. Those would be the quit smoking pills which after taking them a few weeks yes everything in your life is calm because you are zombied out. Most of us don't try and cut down the nic until after we've quit smoking.

Yeah the SOCC that came out 1 1/2 yrs ago are way better then the original silica junk the EVODs originally came with. As long as your using high PG silica ain't bad but a 1.5-1.8 ohm with 80 VG in a SOCC makes it a far better experience.

Somewhat true, Zyban and welbutrin I think it was called are the same pill. It's an anti depressant. I remember the doctors giving me them because Zyban was expensive and welbutrin was covered. Basically work because if you smoke on them after the first month your chance of heart complications tripled or something. I'm here so obviously it only worked short term... could hardly wait for them to run out so I could smoke again lol.

I did Zyban and its instructions called for using them for 2 maybe 3 weeks before trying to quit. Major tranqs are those given to people with ongoing mental problems because in spite of being called major they actually have very little effect over the short term and require a constant and consistent dosage to work. The minor tranqs are the ones you can get blasted on.

    [cut reply to diff. post]

Actually the cotton ones I got were unusable (though also different than others I saw pictures of), I was actually talking about Kanger silica coils vs. the generics, which vary greatly, some being terrible, others not lasting at all -- even though they might not be bad they're too inconsistent to recommend to someone that won't be able to tell the difference. I usually rewick the Kangers straight out of the box with cotton though. Even with the silica, though, they're better (to me) than EVOD 2, Aspire below Nautilus, or the Melo 3. I wish there was more I could recommend, but I don't usually suggest anything I haven't tried myself. That said, I do recall the new Kanger "Top EVOD" looks decent and is cheaper than their original (non-clone), though of the dual coil series (which can be excellent with some juices, is cleaner tasting, but lacks the original's quantity of flavor or easy tinkering).
