crazy coils..on a genny.

I've been watching some rip trippers videos, and there are alot of unusual wire being braided to make coils..like the clapton coil, and the flat ....... coil...he puts all these coils in dripper....I built some of these coils in my dripper, but am now playing with putting these coils in a genny.....has anyone tried using not just twisted wire , but these kinds of new styles of braided wires on a ss or ceramic, or cable wick in their gennys, and if so how do you find them....i put a flat ....... coil on my ceramic wick and the thing is just snap, crackle, pop, at 1.4 ohms.

I find it very tough to beat the super nano and that the nano is the most elegant by far; Simplicity and performame all in one.
