Ok, so today I pick up some more juices, some really great ones this time..finally. Being anxious to try all these cool flavors I didn't want to load up a carto for fear it may not be "the one". So, here I have 5 or so carts with 2 attys. I've been vaping lately using the Boge 2.0 cartos and should you have read a couple of my other posts (ad nausium) and am finally getting them filled right and vaping good.

I've enjoyed the cartridge/atomizer combo as well, albeit the flavor isn't as rich and powerful as the Boge cartos..granted...but I must say, the carts with attys still produce a nice rich flavor. I basically pulled the polyfill from the carts with tweezers, soaked them in hot water, dried them, and reinserted. Then wicked up a new juice, primed the atty and walah...not too shabby. Long story short, I had some bad, used carts laying around and they work just fine, especially for trying out new flavors. Sure, might have to take a bigger drag on them but still getting good vapor production and great taste.

Maybe I just please easier since having started with the cart/atty combo....feels real natural. I suppose my reason for sharing is that trying to find the "right" juice before filling up a carto, the cart/atty route seems to be a nice way of doing it. Crazy, this vaping thing isn't it?

Sounds like your off to a pretty good start. If you really want to try out juices before you put them in your cartos. Then you really don't need the cart itself. You can just drip directly into the atomizer with 3 drops. That will be good for 5 drags. Which is why this method is called "dripping".

It will give you a better grasp on the flavor of your juice and overall, a cleaner vape in comparison to cartomizers. Which I find that there is a slightly muted flavor due to the filler material. A good way to prepare your atty before you try out your next juice is to drip some PG or VG into it. Then vape for a bit to "clean" it up before moving on. The PG or VG doesn't have to have any nic in there but, it is important that it is USP graded.

...yep, crazy it is...I started with cartos right off the batt and thru the carts(which came with my starter kits) in a box...I kept the attys around for dripping and trying new flavs and found I hated dripping BUT, with the carts, I can give a really good try to any flav before committing it to a carto...yep, crazy it is...........

Cartos are probably better once you decide on a few juices that will be your main vapes. Dripping, as was said uptopic, is a good way to test drive juices. I like the 306 dripper atty.

Madvapes 1.8 ohm dripper attys with the tip included.
