Darn!! I didn't realize you were ending early and I still had a couple of flavors I wanted to enter.... View attachment 69211

Oh well, Good Luck Everyone!!!

sorry about that, it looked like the thread was slowing down and when I mentioned it, I got a bunch of "likes" so I assumed most people were ready for me to end it. I have a couple more contest idea's to come, but I really liked the response I got from this, so we may very well run another contest again in the next few months. That should give you some time to perfect it, and you can always suggest your flavors via email and I'd be happy to give them a shot.

I'm gonna start totaling these up and should have the results by the end of the night.

From here I would like all of the winners to contact me via our contact form on the website. The link for this can be found HERE. What I'll need from you is your ECF handle, winning idea submission(s) and real name and address.

We are going to start working on the recipes and will be contacting each of you soon, if additional feedback is required. Depending on how it goes, samples could start shipping as early as next week, so don't wait to submit your info.

I would again just like to personally thank each and every one of you for submitting your suggestions and for voting, it really means a lot to us and we got so many great ideas that we will be busy trying for months to come, mixing and slowly adding them to the site. I hope all enjoyed this as much as we did and I wish you all the happiest of holidays.

Crap, I just read through and realized that I never posted the actual numbers I ended up using for the Apple Pie! This is just an informative post about what I used for it, in case anyone wants to try it:

5ml of 25/75 PG/VG base at 10mg

4 drops/.16ml/2.9% TPA Apple
6 drops/.24ml/4.4% TPA Brown Sugar
1 drop/.04ml/<1% TPA Pie Crust
4 drops/.16ml/2.9% TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
1 drop/.04ml/<1% LA Caramel
1 drop/.04ml/<1% TPA Cinnamon Ceylon

After steeping for a week or so the apple flavor really came out! This is some good stuff! I'd add another drop of cinnamon though, as the cinnamon is barely there, have to be really paying attention to taste it.

For informative purposes, the 1 drop came to about .7%

Absolutely, you are all very welcome and thank you again for your participation, you all made this contest a smashing success. There are a few flavors that will be delayed while we get the flavors required, but we will work on what we can with what we have in the meantime.

Also, just FYI, our new nic base stock should be arriving either today or tomorrow, so I am going to add it back in stock and all nic base orders will be shipped out as soon as it arrives---it will be PG based, with the VG base coming next week. We still offer the lowest pricing on RTS nic base, if you haven't tried it yet, I would highly recommend it....it's the best nic base on the market as far as we are concerned.

Wedding butter mints

I mix waffle and peppermint and add a little menthol for kick.

I don't technically DIY, I just mix those premixed juices together. I'm thinking it would be good with sugar cookie instead of waffle, I just haven't got my sugar cookie yet. But this would be awesome premade, hint...hint!!!

That's how I started out, and I technically still do... :)

I don't have a lot of $$, so I would get the single flavors of juices and a bunch of 3ml empty bottles and mix up small amounts to start... that way I wasn't wasting too much of it... LOL!! And it gave me a lot more variety that way...

And now that I "DIY", I still do it kinda the same way. I mix a batch of the plain flavors first... just to get an idea of what they taste like on their own and the strength that they need to be... and that way I have a better idea of how they will go with the other ones!!

Haven't made anything yet that I didn't like (or that couldn't be saved... ha!!) :vapor: but I still keep it to 5 or 10ml until I am sure.
