Total BS I am afraid. If we look at HC site, the import and sale of e-cigs is unauthorized. We know there is an issue with PP. OTOH if folks are trying to fly under the friggin radar why is there so much lip flapping and advertising going on the forum.

There is no such thing as a little pregnant.

I don't know... but Jugheads is another - their nic strength is simply "concentrate." You won't find the word nicotine anywhere. Just something curious I've noticed with a few vendors that allow PP/CC.

As for who HC targets, I'm under the impression they only follow up or send letters following a complaint. Seems to me they don't take the initiative themselves. I mean, what's holding them back from sending out mass letters following a thorough google search? These companies aren't hard to find.

Actually HC just sent out letters of cease and desist to 2 Cdn suppliers last week
Whether they were sent because of complaints or because HC is starting up I don't know but I do know there is no organized pro ecig org here as they have in the States so who's going to stop or oppose them?

ROTFLMAO...no drama just the facts and it looks like the # is up to 3. Reason I didn't post the companies is because it is THEIR business and I know they are quite stressed at this moment. BTW I pm'ed Concat about them.
Just giving a heads up and have you not noticed lots of Cdn sales lately?
P.S. I saw the HC letters myself but cannot post them as they are pdf and I cannot hide the personal information.

To bad they couldn't get around it by starting a private club. We could pay a membership fee every time we ordered. ( 2 tickets in the Carmel section 24 people, 70/30 women to men. I remember some places were doing that to try and get around the no smoking ban. Didn't last very long though. Just a dumb thought

Our government is just slow at everything. If the US and UK are letting Eliquid be sold... then we will follow that path sometime in the future too, I see no point in wasting money on it at all.

Honestly....it will never get to a point where Eliquid with NIC won't be available, there's always going to be "different" vendors poping up online.

When it comes to this issue HC is just wasting it's time. They're trying to enforce communist style rules on a healthier alternative because it isn't backed by big tobacco money and crazy hidden taxes.

the us hasnt moved forward due to protest

its from using their heads doing some research and caring about thier citizens
i like that were constantly trying but protest isnt the answer

I can't assume it's out-of-reach... maybe out-of-our-life-time...

Look at m a r i j u a n a Maybe we need to get a hold of the m a r i j u a n a party and ask them to get some medical tests going on ecigs as being an alternative to smoking. It's logical - it's safer than analogs and safer than weed for that matter... and look where that's gone...

In my experience forming an org doesn't automatically mean protest. It would be a way of compiling and sharing data, support and funding these endeavours. I've been very active in several orgs and I will tell you one thing from my experience- whether it's municipal, provincial or federal the Govt DOES NOT like groups being organized and that's their biggest fear when an issue comes to light.

Actually the problem in the U.S. was temporarily solved/ staved off by TW taking the FDA to court and winning over the seizure of some gear in Fla. Now the FDA is considering a different way of labeling Ecigs and TW is preparing for the next battle.
As for the U.K. it's the Nudge Unit that's advising- "It will be important to get the regulatory framework for these products right, to encourage new products, which smokers can use as safer nicotine alternatives, to be made available in the UK"
If you read through their Annual Report they mention cost efficiency and I believe they realize the present smoking cessation products are not enough. It's blatantly obvious to many govts that an aging population and growing healthcare costs are becoming a huge burden on Society and Govts.

Aren't you a ray of sunshine :D
Realistically I'd have to agree with you as Canadians seem to be very non committed in regards to organizing. We could take a lesson from our brothers to the south though.

No supplier are giving up and all have been working hard at getting a solution. the best way to help. Is to support YOUR LOCAL SUPPLIER. Many and I mean many supplier are working together right now to bring you something…it's going to be good....no one is willing to say…oh no that is the end for me and my company.

We are being real and we are not dreaming!!
Keep it up Cunuck!!!
