Hi guys! So I bought the tfv4 last night been vaping it with the quad coil anywhere from 70-80 watts. Although the vapor production is amazing I still find the crown has a better taste! What you guys think? Am I not vaping the tfv4 at high enough wattage? Don't get me wrong I'm pleased with the tank but still not getting as good flavor as the crown with a .25 coil. Crown has really nailed the taste on the Uwell I find. I also have the cleitobAspire and that thing is junk I find! Coils spit back and not on par with the two above mentioned tanks!Maybe it's because I'm only three or four tanks on the new coil on the tfv4 and about fifteen tanks in on the crown. But I vape different flavors in both tanks...

I just got the TFV4 yesterday. Don't have a crown (probably next purchase though) I am running the triple coil @ 95 watts and have both plenty of cloud and plenty of flavor. Might just be a strong flavor juice, but idk.
@Chasperk nice! What mod you using? I have the quad in and occasionally going to 90-100 watts for fun mostly at 70-85 watts tho. What kinda juice you running? I'm running pretty strong flavored juice as well. Definitely suggest you get the crown Uwell next tank.

For these two, the Uwell Crown is superior in the flavor field but loses to the TFV4 in the cloud production. ATM, I don't use the TFV4 much anymore, still using the Crown once in a while as my backup, now I go with the Moradin by iCloudCig and the Geekvape Griffin.

@aceman3330 totalky agree. As far as tanks with pre made coils you you say those two are the best crown and tfv4? Once the quad and triple coil are done on the tfv4 I'll attempt my first build on the RBA head that came with the tfva. I noticed that the two the tanks you mentioned are rebuildables. Do they produce better flavor?

I think none of you are Balancing the TFV4 AFC to compare on par. Likely you would find the two tanks would match at same output.

I have found High Vapor RDA's that had diminished Flavor output often could be dialed back and deliver as expected.

It is not what you have, but knowing how to use it.:D

@crxess care to expand? Newbie here!! I'm running both tanks around the same wattage the quad coil I may have ran a bit higher. What coil do you have in the tfv4? I'm actually vaping the quad at 60-65 watts taking longer pulls seem to be getting a bit more flavor. Still playing around with it as I just got it last night. Any input is appreciated!:)

Air Volume differences play a Role in Flavor intensity.
Increased Air Flow allows better power management and higher E-liquid volume which will increase Flavor(more liquid vaporized) and increased Vapor. However excessive Air flow will dilute Flavor.

Due to differences in E-liquid mix, Ratios and even the way one Draws, Adjustments may be needed to achieve the best vape experience.

Anyone that tells you (X) is the perfect coil, wick, wattage, etc. is simply telling you what is the Best they have achieved.:D

I picked up the Eleaf Istick tc100w at the same time. Just upgraded the firmware to 120 watts. Seems to be a nice mod so far with good battery life. Haven't tried any of tc modes yet, but will when I mess with the TFV4 RBA.

@crxess yes I've heard that before more power more air flow. Let's say I'm running the tfv4 at around 70-80 watts I have all four air holes wide open too much air? I've messed with the holes closing them a bit didn't really notice much of a difference in taste but more so in temperature. Any tips?

Well said, experience and knowledge is key here.

I've been using the Tfv4 tank for a while. I prefer the Tri-Coils over the quad coils (vaping between 70-80W) for flavor. The quad coils just seem to mute flavor (for me, at least)....

Haven't tried the quad yet. I saw today that there is an 8 coil Clapton available. I think that is a bit much, but might try it for the experience.
