Hi Elaine
I haven't been active here for a long time
Just dropped back in to see what's happening today.
Nice to see all those "Calls to Actions" have died down.

I've been vaping anywhere and anytime I have wanted to for over 3 years.
In that time I haven't had 1 person tell me that I can't or shouldn't vape anywhere.
Of course, I don't care one hoot about being Politically Incorrect :)

Good to see you again!

Unfortunately, those CTAs only died down because the government bodies tend to take a holiday during December. They are starting to kick in again. Visit the CASAA CTA list to keep current with what's happening. CASAA.org

We will be posting a new CTA for Saugus MA shortly.

I'll be on my first Carnival cruise in a few weeks since their new rules have gone into effect. It will be interesting. To the best of my knowledge I've been the only passenger vaping on each of the cruises I've been on in the past 16 months. Crew members have made me aware that there have been other crew members on the ships that also vape although I've not seen one myself. I've had passengers that were curious but once I explained what I was using and how it worked and most importantly once the realized for themselves that there was no offensive smoke smell coming from my PV they have all been extremely supportive and positive. I'm not one to vape in the dinning room or in the theater so it matters not to me personally if they wish to specify those areas are off limits to vaping BUT to say I cant vape in my cabin shows the limited knowledge those making these rules have since unless I were to blow vaper directly at the smoke detector they will have no way of ever knowing if I have or have not vaped in my cabin.

Crew members on cruiseships are notorious for not knowing corporate rules so it will be interesting to see if anyone says anything to me when I find myself vaping in a public area that is now considered off limits to vaping. And no I wont be doing that on purpose, but I just know that my PV is going to come out of pocket at some point and get used where they now say it shouldnt be used.

I'm not defiant...I'm not angry...I'm not hiding...I just don't care what others
might think about me vaping. I don't care if they suck their thumb either.
So it all works both ways
:)
