Wow! You feeling better made me feel better (funny how that works...)

Congratulations on the prognosis and the new REOs!

Norman

I just had the followup to my CT scan from 6 months ago when there were nodules in my lungs. The diagnosis at the time was that they were most likely from the Pneumonia that I had that brought me to the ER. They sent me on my way and wanted a followup in 6 months. So I quit smoking cold ... turkey. A month later, I started vaping, A month later I started REOing.

Wednesday last week I had to go get a follow up CT scan, you know, the fun one with IV contrast? Today i had to go get the results. I have been a little (a lot) freaked out too.

Results are that my lungs look "perfect" - no nodules, no nothing. Breathing sounds great, yada, yada, yada. I say Hell Yes!

So I just ordered 2 (yes 2) grands - one to replace my blue mini that was traded for a chalice and a red one becuause tomorrows valentines day and to compliment my red mini.

I had good reason to celebrate and I settled on the grands after a few minutes of talking with the MODmaster himself. Any day you talk to Rob is a good day!

Now I will have the perfect mechanical platforms for my chalice. There will be pix once they get here i promise. Yall will get sick of seeing them i bet.

Just ordered 18650 aw imrs from RTD unsig ECF5. Saved a buck .32

RUSS!!!! that is SO awesome!!!!!Congratulations!!!!!! And you DESERVE those REOS if anyone does:wub:

Isn't Rob a treat to talk to?!

Yes. He actually listens to ya. Would be a great guy to hang out around a big firepit slamming patron shots with. Too bad he is busy cooking up that aluminum stuff and lives about 1000 miles away.

Awesome news! Still waiting for pics of those new REOS man!

Thanks Bill! Shipping notice says they should be here tomorrow! Same for the Chalice. Now the only one that hasn't given a date is the 18650's from RTD. They shipped yesterday too, but I'm guessing that ill dry humping the REOs and Chalice until Monday.

Great News!!! I have my 1 year follow up CT with contrast in May. However I am missing part of my right lung because I didn't quit soon enough! :) Had lung cancer but, cancer free so far. Cost me the bottom third of my right lung but beats the hell out of the alternative.

That is great news for you Matt. Have you been vaping the whole time?

Started vaping for real on April 9th. Surgeon said he wouldn't operate if I didn't quit. Quit right then. If you watch pbusardo's video from Vapcon 2, part 2, I am the guy at the end taking about cancer.

Ahh man Matt that was a close call. Kudos to you for sharing your story. Glad you are cancer free now.

Congrats super x drifter. Wow that's great news. Clear lungs. :)

So, now I am curious about how you did this. Exactly what juice have you been using during the past 6 months? Was it mostly pg? Mostly vg? DIY or a specific vendor?

I really think it might help the rest of us former smokers if you would be so kind to share the details.

And...keep up the good work. Awesome news. :)
