Hi there just started vaping 1 week ago started off with the subvape by ibliss and it was great. Got greedy and upgraded to the cuboid 150w. I find myself going through more juice with the cuboid. I'm only running it at 40watts! Also can someone explain all the different modes? Instruction manual isn't very helpful! I need help I miss the simplicity of the ibliss

Did you change atomizers? And what wattage were you vaping at before? With all things being equal, the mod doesn't affect juice consumption.

What modes are you talking about? For the normal three:

VW-changes your wattage, which in turn, changes your voltage according to the coil resistance.

VV-changes voltage instead of wattage. Same basic idea as VW, but most people find it easier to find tune the vape with VW.

Temp control- uses an algorithm based on ambient temp, metallurgic properties, and a little PFM to achieve and maintain a set coil temp. This way you can have a perfectly tuned vape.

I doubt you're in over your head with the Cuboid if you're vaping at 40 watts. I vape my twin RX200s in the mid 30's through 50 watts or so. You may need some help getting it properly set up, though. First, tell us what kind of tank you're using, and what coil it has.

There is a learning curve with vaping. My favorite starter setup is an iStick 20 at 8-10 watts and a Nautilus mini tank with 1.8 ohm coil. Then for some months read and read and read some more and hold off buying more equipment. A brother of mine started on the above setup Christmas 2014. The only thing that's changed is he's up to 12 watts and he's cutting his pre mixed eliquid by 2/3 with unflavored DIY.

I'm gonna have to check the tank they sold me came with three different coils :
.25=65 watts
.5=30-35
No-temp=@550,45 watts to 50 watts I'm using the .25 coil at 40 watts took like 15 puffs and my tank is half empty already lol

I'm just shocked at the amount of juice I'm going through with this. Just filled my tank up and I'm at 35 watts-40 watts took like 20 puffs and tank is half gone. My ibliss was at 40 watts and the tank would last me all day! Also I feel like I'm vaping more then was smoking if I'm going through two to 3 tanks 4ml capacity at .6 nic is it still healthier then smokin?

The Cuboid is the mod, the power source with batteries. What tank are you using? What are you actually putting your juice into? You still haven't said.

This is why I think new vapers should use starter kits that are designed to work together out of the box. Not sure why anyone who just started vaping would need 150 watts of power.

I will get back to you after work with which tank I'm using. Well why not get a better unit it's adjustable and later down the road if I want to increase my watts I can! Right now I'm at 45 watts so it should affect the liquid I'm using that much!! I bought the unit at Rich Vap and they suggested the tank

Definitely a crown tank and that is why your sucking through juice... any sub-ohm setup is going to destroy juice consumption.... if you are looking to conserve you will want a tank that has a higher ohm coil...or a single coil setup.... the lower the ohms or resistance the more power it takes and the more juice it consumes.

well you have a few options really... you can pop in the .5 ohm coil that came with the tank and that will help limit some of the consumption....or you can attempt to either A) get a tank that offers coils in the post ohm range...such as the triton or sub tank mini....or get a rebuildable tank and learn to build your own coils so that you can build in the post ohm range yourself....the building is the most cost effective range in the long run. The crown tank does offer a rebuildable deck that you could learn to build on....unfortunately it doesnt offer a coil above .5 ohms.
