I could also use my tank from my subvape thinking about it now!
I could also use my tank from my subvape thinking about it now!
Thanks Clark! Yeah strapped it on and was at 50 and tasted burnt down to 40 same thing 25 is good so far. So my juice consumption should drastically go down right?
Yes very true!Always start low and move up.
If you start too high you burn your cotton wick and the coil cannot work anymore.
When you drive a car you start from 0 and increase speed; when you are going too fast you soon get some warnings and back off. If you strap on and stamp on the x, you just crash and it's over.
So what's the difference with the subvape coil .5 and my crown tank coil .5 but I can run the .5 crown coil much higher weird...The health factor is your only consuming nicotine with ejuice vs all the other junk that is within cigarettes....now yes too much nicotine is a bad thing but per mg your still not going to go overboard...your body will tell you that you have had too much...nausea ........ headaches etc..... plus you will feel lightheaded way before it gets that extreme..... as far as using your other tank yes you can use it....I would vape it around 20-24 watts since the kit it came with has a max power of 40watts....so the wire is probably a 24ga inside it. If you vape at 35 watts or below your going to save juice and power on your battery dramatically.
Susan I'm liking the .5 at 40watts even 35. I won't lie it's nice running it at 50 as well! There are only 4 coils I am aware of the for crown tank.
0.25Ω - Stainless Steel Dual Coil
0.50Ω - Stainless Steel Dual Coil
1.2Ω - Stainless Steel Coil
0.15 - Ni200 (Nickel coil) - Can only be run in temperature control mode.
I run my 0.25Ω coil at 70-85 watts. I run the 0.5Ω coil at 50-60 watts.
If you are running the 0.25Ω coil at 40 watts then you will most likely run the 0.5Ω coil lower than 40 watts. If you do, it should put out less vapor and conserve your juice. I have not tried the Ni200 coil or the 1.2Ω coil. But the 1.2Ω coil should put out even less vapor than the 0.5Ω coil.
Different tanks and coils will have different airflow and juice-flow characteristics, even at the same given Ohm rating. The Crown coils are made to accommodate the large airflow capability of the tank, so you can apply more power to its .5Ω coil than you could, say, to a Kanger .5Ω coil for a Subtank Mini. I've happily run the .25Ω Crown coils at 50-60W, whilst the .3Ω coils for my Melo 2 tanks are best for me around 30W.So what's the difference with the subvape coil .5 and my crown tank coil .5 but I can run the .5 crown coil much higher weird...
Hey man! So you mentioned "whilst the .3Ω coils for my Melo 2 tanks are best for me around 30W" would the melo tank fit on my cuboid? Also does it give good flavor? I find the subvape tank is ok but nothing compared to the crown tank with .5 coil at around 35-45. So I'm vaping .6 nic level going to go to .3 how do u know if the levels are matched to your equipment?Different tanks and coils will have different airflow and juice-flow characteristics, even at the same given Ohm rating. As for your questions and concerns about the amount that you're vaping and juice consumption.. Vaping is going to be far better for your overall health than smoking cigarettes will ever be, even at high frequency and high juice consumption levels. As long as the nicotine level of your liquids is matched to your vaping equipment and frequency, reducing the chance of over-doing it on the nicotine, you're much better off.

Honestly, I'd give the Melo 2 a rousing "Meh, it's okay I guess" rating, mainly for the slightly restrictive airflow for a sub-ohm tank. But I have to qualify that with the fact that I prefer the airiness of tanks like the Crown. I still use the Melo 2's I have, but they're "second-shelf" to my other tanks. (And to be fair and honest, I still use my ET-S clearos with 1.6Ω coils for tootling on my menthol juices - it's a good fit for them relative to the juice.)Hey man! Ahhh, i needed that..wire gauge (thickness)
So do u still get a good "kick" when u pull off ET-S clearos?Honestly, I'd give the Melo 2 a rousing "Meh, it's okay I guess" rating, mainly for the slightly restrictive airflow for a sub-ohm tank. I've used the Melo 2's, Subtank Mini, Crown and Aromamizer on my Cuboid - all have worked fine. Any issues I had were all related to contact-issues with the 510 pin that were resolved by cleaning and re-seating the tank on the Cuboid. I'm now waiting for the arrival of my just-ordered Griffin RTA which will get paired with the Cuboid or RX200.
My juices are 3mg for my sub-ohm setups; I use 6mg liquids in the ET-S clearos and the Subtank with coils over 1.2Ω for either tootling or when I can't or don't want to be tossing clouds.I have done the 6mg in my other setups but I'm at the point where I'll start getting nic-sick if I'm not careful doing that.
They're my absolute "first vape in the morning with my coffee" tanks paired with the menthol juices I use. The alternative is my Subtank Mini with the RBA that I've dropped a 1.2Ω build in along with a coffee-style juice. And I will use the "slipstream" method (keeping my mouth slightly open) of drawing on the ET-S to add a little air to the draw. HitsSo do u still get a good "kick" when u pull off ET-S clearos?
