What's the maximum wattage I could use with the .5?
The rule of thumb for EVERY vape device you'll ever own is the same (when running in power or wattage/voltage mode).

Turn your voltage/wattage down, take a few hits, bump it up, couple more hits. Repeat until you find your "sweet spot". If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment.
Could I use my subvape tank on the cuboid?
Yes.

I think so, not familar with the subvape tank or what ohm coil is in it, the .25 coils in the crown I personally like at about 60-75 watts. with the .5 I think would be good up to 40-50 or so. there is also a higher ohm coil for the Crown a 1.2 that I have never tried that may be closer to what your used to. The Ni 200 coil should be used in Ni mode only and I like it about 50 watts and 480F, these are just my preferences though, I would start on the lower end and adjust up as needed. What ohm coil is in the Subvape? Don't forget the Air flow of the tanks plays a big role in how it vapes.

VW-is variable wattage also known as power mode...this is your basic mode...this mode is utilized with wire types such as Nichrom/Kanthal/and Stainless Steel....Your VT-Variable temperature...are Your temperature control coils such as Titanium and Nickel(Ni200) coils. These coils can only be utilized in temperature control mode because if they get too hot then they produce gases that can be harmful if inhaled. The benefit is a different flavor profile that many people enjoy and it also allows you to dial in a perfect vape for you and minimize a dry/burnt hit. TCR(temperature coefficient ratio) is a number designated for a specific wire type. If you manipulate this then you can dial in your vaping to an even more precise level. It is an advanced feature, and is another tool utilized for temperature control vaping. The .25/.5/1.2 all stand for resistances of the wire in your coil head. There is a lot of argument on this particular subject due to you being able to achieve these same resistances a variety of ways with several different gauges of wire and techniques...however the rule of thumb is the lower the resistance(i.e.: below 1.0----the hotter the wire will get....this will produce more vapor and more flavor. In return the juice consumption is greater. The higher the resistance---the less vapor you will get and less juice consumption it will take...but you can still achieve good flavor notes. In most cases although not all it also requires more watts/power to utilize a lower resistance coil than it would a higher resistance coil...so if you are utilizing a .25 coil at 40 watts....then your .5 coil you would be utilizing at say 25-30 watts.

The crown tank is a great tank... and you will find a lot of people on this site swear by it... there are some on here that have multiple crown tanks that they use on a daily basis...but it isnt for everyone. Some of those are also ones that make their own e-juice...or have the funds to keep up with the amount of ejuice they consume. If you find that the tank is eating too much juice for your vaping habits then it obviously isn't a good choice for you at this time. Like you said your new to vaping so you probably just quit smoking, and are a chain vaper.... and you need something that will limit your consumption as you do chain vape....so maybe get another tank for your all day cravings with a 1.2 or 1.5 ohm coil and then bring the crown tank out on those special occassions when you want to switch it up and have a new flavor experience. Because the crown with its stainless steel coils does offer a different flavor profile then a regular kanthal coil does.
How many tanks do u guys go through in a day? With this new set up I'm already on my third tank. Is this less healthy then smoking am I consuming more? So basically could use my subvape tank at what wattage?

if it keeps you off cigs, I think it would be much less harmfull, But I am not a doctor. I can say my bill of heath has risen quite a bit since. and I can call myself a very heavy vaper for almost 3 years, at least 20 ml a day. although I dropped nic from my starting point of 18mg to 3-6mg now. your welcome, you might want to start with lower watts and work your way up next time:eek:

Some cool features of the Cuboid you might not know are Turn off with 5 clicks and hold down the fire and down button at the same time and it will tell you your battery voltage, click the button 20 times not to fast or to slow and you get the Firmware Number,
Thanks again Clark 3.1 firmware! They updated it at the store for me! When or how do you know when updates come out? Also do u need software to upgrade it I suppose so?

The health factor is your only consuming nicotine with ejuice vs all the other junk that is within cigarettes....now yes too much nicotine is a bad thing but per mg your still not going to go overboard...your body will tell you that you have had too much...nausea ........ headaches etc..... plus you will feel lightheaded way before it gets that extreme..... as far as using your other tank yes you can use it....I would vape it around 20-24 watts since the kit it came with has a max power of 40watts....so the wire is probably a 24ga inside it. If you vape at 35 watts or below your going to save juice and power on your battery dramatically.

Thanks went to the Vap shop and bought .5 coils running it at 35-60 watts seems good so far!! With the .25 when I inhaled off the device it was smooth. Here with the.5 sometimes it crackles or pops? Any advice?

There are only 4 coils I am aware of the for crown tank.

0.25Ω - Stainless Steel Dual Coil
0.50Ω - Stainless Steel Dual Coil
1.2Ω - Stainless Steel Coil
0.15 - Ni200 (Nickel coil) - Can only be run in temperature control mode.

I run my 0.25Ω coil at 70-85 watts. I run the 0.5Ω coil at 50-60 watts.

If you are running the 0.25Ω coil at 40 watts then you will most likely run the 0.5Ω coil lower than 40 watts. If you do, it should put out less vapor and conserve your juice. I have not tried the Ni200 coil or the 1.2Ω coil. But the 1.2Ω coil should put out even less vapor than the 0.5Ω coil.
Thanks again!! I bought some .5 coils running anywhere between 40-60. 60 is nice :)

Definitely a crown tank and that is why your sucking through juice... any sub-ohm setup is going to destroy juice consumption.... if you are looking to conserve you will want a tank that has a higher ohm coil...or a single coil setup.... the lower the ohms or resistance the more power it takes and the more juice it consumes.
What are you running what kinda coil? What wattage? I put a .5 coil in and trying to decide somewhere between 35-50 range!
