I am curious about the fiddle factor and reliability of atomizer based tank systems, from the 510 tank atomizers to autofeed VVPV's to the Odysseus. Or what works and what doesn't. I want something to work without any fuss, and wondering if any of these systems meet that criteria. After bad ego-t experience and no interest in dripping, I find I have avoided a whole sector of the vaping world. The rest of this post gives what I see as a problem with fiddle factor on different technologies but you don't have to read it to answer my question. I get wordy at times.
From the beginning I have avoided atomizers and dripping because of the fiddle factor. I want something I can carry around, pull out of my pocket, vape, toss back in my pocket, and go on like that all day long.
I started out on ego-t, great concept, poor execution. They are prone to spontaneous and sometimes mysterious leaking. To get any life out of them they have to be broken down and cleaned, wicks adjusted, etc. Too much fiddle factor.
I tried CE2's, they rarely work properly out of the box, have to be modded, and still are finicky and prone to leaking, especially after being modded. Too much fiddle factor.
I love carto tanks, unless they are broken, you can stuff them in your pocket, let them roll around on the counter, they don't leak, and they keep going all day long. I suppose you could knock the tank off the carto, but not very easily.
