I have been reading many threads lately about friends, family, strangers, etc sying they are allergic or have a reaction to the vape from our e-cigs.
(I am not talking about people who try vaping and find they are allergic to something in the vape)
It got me thinking.
Now in theory a person can be allergic to anything... But that does not mean the symptoms of that allergic reaction is always the same between two people who are allergic to the same thing.
For example lets say 3 of us are allergic to peanut butter. 1 goes into anaphalctic shock, the second breaks out in hives and the third throws up.
Since vaping is about inhaling we can substitute perfume instead of peanut butter. 1 gets all itchy when in a room with a certain perfume, one has a sneezing fit and another has a tight chest.
Why is it that in like 98% of the stories we read here about people complaining about anothers vape irritating them it is ALWAYS the tight chest thing?
I think maybe I have read a handful of times of someone saying it irritated their eyes or gave them a headache.
WHich I can actually believe since certain perfumes and citronella will do that to me. (I am seriously allergic to citronella, one smell and instant migraine)
My point here is why is it that those crying allergic always go with the chest thing?
Wouldn't it stand to reason that true allergic reactions would vary from person to person? Not always the same "symptom"
It just reminds me of someone who sees a cloud of vape, thinks smoke, and starts with the hand flapping and fake cough.
