Current Halo Shipping Prob?

Hi all. I placed an order on Thursday May 29th via regular mail. Halo didn't confirm the electronic shipping notice until Saturday May 31st. Now, USPS tracking is stuck on the electronic shipping notice. I've ordered several times from Halo, both priority and regular. I never had this type of delay before. I wonder what's up?

The issue is USPS, their tracking is terribad. What will happen is that in a couple of days you will see about 5 updates that your package went across the country in 5 minutes.

It's not just Halo, it's any medium sized business that does batch shipping through USPS. Of a dozen or so orders through Halo, this has happened about 3 times, and it's always USPS' fault. there's a reason they're losing 2 billion a year.

I've always had excellent shipping times with the priority shipping, but I know sometimes the USPS tracking doesn't update till its almost at my house...it will be stuck on the electronic info received for days...I think first class doesn't update till its delivered though. So your package may be over halfway to you...I predict you'll get it today or tomorrow...hang in there, I'm sure its not still in new Jersey.

depending on the size of your order, maybe they were making sure you got yer free sample of teh new flavor. Also, since Thursday was the last day of the double points sale, i think it was really busy for them. This previous sale seemed to generate more interest than i've seen previously.

Yeah, that is more likely what happened. I forgo about the Memorial day bustle. Before ordering, I chatted with CS about the sample and they were already putting them in the orders on Thursday. Would be great if I got my order today...

I ordered on thursday at well..at 5 AM. My total was $85, so I got the free priority shipping. I got an email for tracking number around 8:30ish... (edit: it arrived Saturday) So Im pretty sure they got it out with thursdays mail. I dont live too far from NJ and I notice you don't either, so I hope yours got out sometime Friday or early Saturday because of the sale...What time did you place your order? Let us know when you get it! USPS is pretty good .....when youre close to the shipper!

With Halo's growth, this was the busiest sale ever, plus the Monday Holiday, plus the new flavor roll out. Many of us hold out until a sale on hardware, then order.

So, the USPS is probably got hundreds of packages, and I'll bet big that they failed to scan many of the packages. I did get a Halo shipment in December that read "Electronic Shipping Info Received" until the day it was delivered.

Plus, USPS scanning, especially for First Class Mail er, um, what's the technical word I'm looking for???

Oh yea, sucks.

I also have an order currently in the same status. I'm not worried.

I heard USPS is getting a new scanning system. Unfortunately, it was shipped using USPS...,

I received Halo's shipping confirmation on Saturday at 11:30 am. Since it is first class, I'll be surprised if I get it today. More than likely tomorrow I bet. Mailman's due in about a half hour so we shall see.

sorry if this doesn't help you, but i figured id put my 2 cents in. i just did my first order with halo and after debating how useless the usps is, i decided to go with fedex home delivery. Not that ups is bad...well my ups delivery guy is. he just leaves without ringing our bell( i live in apartment complex and the ups guy doesn't have keys to get in like the fedex and usps guys do, so to call us he has to use the bell from the outside and never does)

Also, USPS priority isn't really priority imo. the systems too messed up and i don't trust it.

UPS now has a "leave at door, don't knock" policy for packages that don't require signatures. So for people who wait at home for an important package to arrive, you have to be lucky and catch the UPS truck pulling up to know they've made the delivery attempt.

oh no, mine don't even try at times. the old guy who got replaced had keys, so he would at least leave it inside our secure building. This new guy however, either leaves it outside the building or leaves a note "sorry we missed you" without ever ringing my bell as im upstairs waiting.

that's why i like and used fedex. sure its more money, but the stress free level to me is worth the penny (especially since im in an area known for people taking others properties)

9 days later still no vape mail, AND mine will not include the free sample even though Halo delayed my shipment because of the sale rush. They told me because it was in "pre-shipment".

Crappy situation all around, so I'm smoking an analog (sacrilege, I know)

I feel for you guys...I would be crying and rocking back and forth if that were me, but couldn't ya get some other ejuice ..local..rather than keep smoking ? (I think someone else already mentioned this but hell, I'm saying it again)..maybe its just me but...no matter what, I'm not smoking another cig ..ever. just saying. And also, its not halos fault...maybe just a tad for taking it so long to get out, but they had a sale...but its usps...next time get ups, fedex, or at least spend over 75 (not hard to do, saves you a few dollars in the long run and headache) and get the faster priority shipping. Regular mail is treated like crap..

lol, yes I could get some at a local store it's just not the same. Yes it's not Halo's fault, just a combination of the delays brought on by both parties which hasn't happened before in combination.

5-10 cigs in a year is not the worst thing in the world. It's not like I'm breaking bad.

Man, that sucks. 9 days??? Well, I'd better get mine tomorrow and that sample better be included since I asked CS before ordering if it'd be put in. I'm just kinda ticked that I ordered on Thursday and Halo didn't even send the e-ship notification until Saturday. And I'm not sure I can trust that the physical pickup actually occurred on Saturday.

iono...my mail didnt go through Kearny this most recent order. instead it went through a mythical land called Teterboro, home of the mighty unicorns and jackalopes!

and 2 hours ago, it was in San Antonio...oooh! i should tell it head to the riverwalk for some tripas!

so if it gets in tomorra, that will be a full week since i ordered and 5 days since it got shipped.

vapemail is so fun!

Open a ticket with CS and see if they can help you, it can't hurt and at least they might can call USPS to find it.
