Hi all, let me introduce you to my new mod.
It is proudly made in Romania by one local modder, to the following specifications:
- 304 grade stainless steel except for 510 connection pin and bottom button and pin which are brass
- 23mm external diameter to fit my larger atomizers, e.g. Ithaka
- 18.5mm internal diameter so the batteries slide inside instead of being dropped there
- brushed finish for the tube and mirror polish for the top-cap and switch
- bottom fire switch with a reverse threaded locking ring
- 2 side-cut venting slots (personal opinion, more stylish than the usual holes)
- 510 top-cap connection with a brass floating pin, also a second screw inside the pin to adjust for different battery lengths
- custom engraved
These were my custom specifications but on request, they can be made with different finishes, different diameter and tube lengths and more important, custom engraved with the desired logo, customer name.
Also stainless steel parts can be completely replaced by brass parts or a combination of SS/brass.
I was stunned by the quality of the craftmanship and the overall feel and looks of these pieces, not to mention the perfect functionality (no misfires, extremely low voltage drop under load etc.)
It is a heavy mod (just look how thick the walls of the tube are)!
