So I wanted a tank for standard size cartos, not the xls, so I took a madvapes tank (smoktech xl, about 3.5ml i think) and cut down the tube so it would fit on these stainless SR boge cartos I found laying around. I haven't had a lot of luck with holes, so I cut a pretty big slash in the side, thinking that would for sure keep it wet. Well I marked with tape the juice level on the outside of the tank and have been using it for the last day and a half, and it doesn't seem to be wicking at all. I enlarged the slot a little, and added a lil juice to the top of the carto once. This slice is good size, my juice is a approx 50/50 mix, and i think its a standard reisitance boge since I need to run it at 5v on the lavatube or whatever u wanna call it. Any tips?

I haven't gotten any nasty tasting hits, and I haven't had any gurgling or anything. Actually, about 20 mins after I posted that I was rippin on it pretty hard and actually saw a couple bubbles come from the slit. Now that I look at it, the juice does look like it has gone down. Maybe I didn't vape the pre-fill out of the carto yet, thus no need to feed juice from the tank yet. Hmm well it seems to be working now. Got some Juicy Vapor Wake-N-Vape in there and the tank looks good, I think some of the DCTs are too long, esp on the lavatube which is long as it is. Thanks for your input Flyer!
