I recieved a package from AVE last week it was opened and resealed with yellow cbsa tape, nothing was missing nothing was charged extra to me and no time was lost, I got everything I ordered which was 18ml nic liquid x 8 bottles.

That kind of scary, dont mean too alarm you but was the juice bottled sealed, some could slip something in to the bottle.

I've also had terrible ups luck but vendor only ships ups (item came from Greece) I also got a package from ave on Friday unopened nic juice, no issues whatsoever even still its all based on an advisory warning by health Canada, none of it is illegal nic juice is exempt from the food and drug act thankfully I don't have to argue that as there's no juice but solely a PV

WOW.. never though of that. Now its kinda scarry with all the freaks out there with a roll of cbsa tape looking for a place to use it. You wouldn't know if something was slipped into the jug until you were convulsing on the ground.. I've had juices from fasttech delivered but not sealed and so bad they won't be vaped either. My Jugheads order I got a couple weeks back all had sealed jugs. Vendors should look into protecting themselves and add a bit more sealing other than doubled up ziplock bags. :)

One could say that about any product, including the folks that bottle up the juice. Let's leave the tin foil theories where they belong.

I agree 100%
How do you know that the guitar pick you got at Steve’s Music is not coated in a highly toxic poison? That the cute squirrel in the tree outside your house was not trained by a government agency to scratch you and crap on your car. Did the plumber who put in you toilet when you house was built also put in a counter to record how much you crap???

Paranoia will destroy ya!

Well, interesting day... UPS finally has there story together as they attempted to cite the food and drug act as why it was denied. Called BIS who contacted CBSA for me, no record of it being denied at least yet, BIS agent seemed as confused as I am. Looking like UPS is going to just send it back as they are overly insistive to do this instead of allowing me to appeal the decision (of which there presently is no record of it being made)

Canada Customs has advised the following:

Smokeless cigarettes (electronic cigarettes) which deliver nicotine are a very recent development and have not yet received approval to be sold in Canada. They are regulated as health products under the Food & Drugs Act.

No market authorizations have been issued to date, so no commercial or non-commercial importation to Canada is permitted. If electronic cigarettes with nicotine cartridges etc., are encountered at the border, they will be refused entry into the country

After quoting the food and drug act exemption clause for nicotine inhalation devices. Cyclical argument. Told them I want to speak with someone regarding this as it is exempt from said act and there's no nicotine in the shipment on top of the fact the seizure and return of this shipment is in violation of the charter of rights and freedoms. Who knows maybe I can talk some sense into someone

As long as the device contains no nicotine, they can not be regulated as health products under the food and drugs act. If you ordered a product with "Blanks" or solely hardware there is absolutely no reason for them to stop the product at the border.

Emphasis above on the "If electronic cigarettes with nicotine cartridges"

If your device does not contain nicotine, I'd file a complaint.
