So the CVS Brand of Pure Glycerine is the same as the VG everyone has been talking about on here? Sorry, I am a noob. I bought a bottle of this last week. It has the USP label on it, but looking on the back of the bottle it says for external use only, so I thought that maybe I bought the wrong stuff.

Yes - HUMCO manufactures this. I emailed HUMCO and the VP of Marketing confirmed it as well. For specifics go here:

According to the above referenced post it claims Humco manufactors and label it for CVS. I asked the pharmacist at my local CVS as to whether or not it was in fact vegetable glycerin his response was that as the bottle was labeled for external use only he would definitely not advise inhaling it! I used it anyways got pretty good blisters on my tongue. They only lasted a couple of days but I stopped using it finding some at a Whole foods organic type market. It was clearly marked 100%kosher vegetable glycerin USP" I had no problems with blistering. I eventually purchased a gallon from Essential wholesale online for about 15.00 plus shipping.
