LOL... I had decided to just stop going to CVS altogether. Then my health insurance switched my prescription plan to CVS Caremark... no more WalGreens for me... even the universe is against my self-inflicted petitioning of businesses... smh

CVS is just trying to save face. Ever since they announced they would no longer be selling cigarettes, their profits have dropped. They believed increased prescription sales would make up for lost sales from cigarettes. It hasn't happened. CVS is just trying to put positive spin on their poor decision.

They can try to steal it but not many are buying their BS. Read a couple that are pointing their fingers at ecigs as having the major impact. By their reasoning, they're contributing greatly to the alcoholism problem.

True, they will bury me with that cheap Vodka that is always on sale in liter sizes.

When I was a smoker in college if the nearest convenience store was out of my brand and packaging of cigarettes (I preferred a soft pack) I would walk an extra mile in the rain to a gas station to get it.
Did people actually buy cigarettes in CVS? I can't say I ever did, unless I was buying a birthday card or something. I've never been a drug store customer though.

I have to say I never bought cigarettes at CVS, though when I was looking into vaping, I tried to get a Blu disposable from them, they did not carry'em, so I went to Walgreens and got one there. This was the start of my journey to quitting cigarettes through vaping. :vapor:

Hmmm, so I guess CVS is right, they did in fact lose a sale and I quit smoking. :D
