Do you think there's much difference between the old model and this one? aside from the screws.

Looks like the horizontal hole is lower than some Cyclones I've seen. Personally I like the old screws better but I know a lot of folk like the universal aspect of the Phillips I would have thought they would have gone triple post like the Silverback.

According to a posting i saw on FB they also made some improvements to the juice well. I don't own an older cyclone so i can't say from personal experience.

Form MOV's site...
This is the updated 2014 Cyclone RBA (Re-Buildable Atomizer) bottom feeding atomizer that is made in the Philippines by Vicious Ant. It is made of Stainless Steel and comes stock with a 1mm air hole and is a perfect addition to any 510 threaded, bottom fed mod! New for the 2014 version are 4 key points...

Cyclone logo on the top cap
Vicious Ant and 2014 engraved on the underside of the base
Phillips head screws on the posts
New shape for the juice well

Am I hallucinating or did I see Cyclones with different colored tops? Brass/Copper/Black?

You did see a link I post somewhere here in the REO forum. It is from a FB contest VA is having. The brass and copper are one offs for the contest only from what I heard.

They are pretty damn expensive to put together with the cyclops AFC cap these days but I have to say, at least to date, it is my favorite atty.

Just received the RM4 and will load that up tomorrow, looks like the RM5 is out now too and I'll have to order one of those too but for direct lung hits right now the cyclone with AFC sets the bar for me at least.

You should grind down the head diameter of the screws on that RM4. They are awfully close to each other. You don't want that thing shorting out your device. It is easy to do. Chuck the threaded part of the screw in a drill and run it while holding a file on the screw head. You can take them down pretty close to the recess for the screwdriver. You might also want to file the points down while your at it...
