I have done that too, SS is a dog to drill and i wore out drill bits and patience trying.

I think it's better to press the center post out, then dremel a channel than to drill all the way through.
I guess I worry about breaking a bit inside. I haven't done that but I've heard it happen to others. (pdib?)
Plus it wasn't that hard and was even able to tweak the juice flow amount by opening it up a little more later
Honestly if I hadn't had such a hard time drilling the center post that's the route I would take. The dremel work is a bit sloppier in my hands at least compared to a drill. If I had a drill press then that's the route I would take.
The channel method does work though and I am happy with the results so far.

I need to drill out my new pin from the divo, it's the same pin as the cyclone, I'll try to see if I can video drilling it. sometimes seeing is better than illustrating it with just words 
Turbo, is there any difference inside between the divo and cyclone? In other words, are the posts / configuration pretty much the same?
the base seems to be identical but it is slightly smaller in diameter and I mean slightly, for the most part it's around the same as the cyclone

Excellent!!! I think that's exactly what a lot of folks need to truly understand how it's done. I wish I had such a video to go by when I did mine. However, following your written advice did help me to do mine rather quickly and with no problems.
