Hmmmmmm igo's, will the echo cartos work on the igo? And igo cartos on the echo?
Do the igo batts charge any faster than the echo? what's the mA on the igo usb charger?

thanks

I'll answear as best that I can.
Yes, the ECHO cartomizers will fit on the IGO, BUT there will be about a 1/4" gap and YES it will fire.

echocartomizeronIGObattery001-1.jpg

No. The IGO cartomizers WILL NOT fit on the ECHO.

Yes. The IGO batteries do charge faster than the ECHO.
The Ma on IGO charger: USB INPUT: 5V DC. 500mA
Output: 4.2V DC. 150mA

The ECHO charger: USB Input: 5V DC. 500mA
Output: 5V DC. 150 mA.

Based on that information I would think that the ECHO would charge faster than the IGO.

But it does not.

The IGO kits I sell and the IGO kits that Nhaler sells ARE NOT RENAMED VGO KITS!

I see this mis-information in several threads.

IGOs are not VGOs!

I think every person in China that is capable of putting a led in the bottom of a tube
and wiring up a battery and switch is making and selling VGOs.

Including all of the major manufactureas.

IGOs are made by ONLY one manufacture!

This mis-information reminds of some of the BS that is going around in washington d.c.:

If you tell the same bs enough it becomes fact!

That is not the case with the IGO.

The IGO DOES NOT have a led on the bottom of the battery as does the VGO.

Just becase a cartomizer fits a different battery does not make it so!

enough said! :2cool:

Who makes the iGo is what I've been asking and no one will tell me. Is the only difference between the iGo and a vgo the led? I don't understand why I can't get an answer on the iGo. It was the same way with the Go-go we couldn't get a straight answer for months. If you don't want people speculating then give me an answer. I've asked several times and I have even sent you a PM but not even a response. BS and fact only get mixed when people have facts otherwise it is speculation and that is all I've done because no one will give me any facts.

"Who makes the iGo is what I've been asking and no one will tell me."

I checked Nhaler's site and I don't see where you ever asked over there.
maybe you should ask Drew.

Well you didn't look good enough, besides what has this got to do with Nhaler. You are selling them and I asked you. Someone asked you about who made the Go-Go and you answered in the next post Kanger. I ask you who makes the igo and you talk in circles. I've sent a lot of people your way but if you want to be difficult over a simple question you can mark me down as a unhappy customer! I just don't get it.

You were right I didn't ask Drew about who made them on that thread but I now have. What I asked Nhaler about was the size of the carto. He claims they hold between 3 to 4 ml of juice and I stated the manufacture of the echo-e and echo-v claims 2.3 ml and 3 ml for the standard echo. The most I've been able to get in a new iGo or echo-e is about 2.7 ml and about 3.4 in the echo. So I will pose that question to you does the iGo and echo-e hold 3 ml of juice?

I don't measure the amount of juice they hold, I drip down the side until i get a drop out the bottom.

no where near 4. ml
depends on the juice. more than a echo-e less than a echo.

it took me 20 seconds to find out who makes IGO (i timed it this morning)

Time to post this again:

OMG, forum member, and good friend of mine, posted this method for cleaning ECHO and IGO cartomizers:

"Cleaning and Rebuilding an ECHO/iGo carto:

-pull out the stuffing with tweezers
-rinse both layers of filler material off in really hot water
-rinse the carto out and place it in the ultrasonic with vodka for cleaning solution for 10 minutes (or just soak in vodka)
-shake the vodka out and put the carto on a manual battery - hold the button down for about 10 seconds several times until there is white stinky smoke coming off it and you can see the coil glowing red. (this is called dry burning)
-rinse the carto again and toss it back in the ultrasonic for 10 more minutes
-dipped the filler in vodka and rinse again in really hot water - spread it out on paper towels and press more paper towels down to soak up all the water
-pull the carto out of the ultrasonic (vodka), rinse well then let it and the filler material dry for an hour or more
-drip 4-6 drops of juice in the bottom of the carto to get the coil and wick wet
-wrap the filler around a straw making sure the small inner filler hangs out the bottom a bit
-use the straw to ease it into the carto
-tamp down pretty hard
-fill and vape

I keep the filler material and cartos in a baggie and don't put them together until I'm ready to fill and use them... that way I can prime the coil with juice. Filling with a syringe the first time does work better.

I'm not sure if using just plain vodka to soak it would work as well a the ultrasonic but I think it would do pretty much the same thing. I got the little ultrasonic from my local jeweler for $19.99."

" I'm not needing a cleaning yet but has anyone cleaned one yet that didn't work very well afterwards?"

I think that realy depends on your method of cleaning.

Some folks just run them under hot water, some folks boil them, some folks pump hot water or alcohol thru them.

I have tried all of those methods and then removed the filller from the cartomizer to see the results. YUK! you would
be amazied at all of the nasty stuff that remains after one of these methods of cleaning.

It seems to me that the only method that realy gets the cartomizer and filler clean is the MOHAWK/OMG method of filler removal.

OMG taught me and it works very well.
Clean cartomizers, clean, snow white filler. Put em back togeather and vape like new.

Loving my new chrome echo Bill. Didn't think I would like the auto batt, but I love it. It lasts a long time and takes about 4-5 hours to charge. Think I need to get some more cartos. You still have chrome right? Also, how
much to ship a box of 5?

I have plenty of chrome echo cartomizers. It is the black that I am out of.

$2.00 should cover the shipping in a padded envelope.
send me a pm and we can take care of business.

I saw Bill's post about how you clean these babies, I haven't tried yet but I am going to make an attempt! How long have you been vaping OMG?

January 12th at 12 noon was my last cig. As I sat in my garage, freezing my .... off smoking, I knew that new V2 kit packed in my suitcase for a three week trip was going to be my salvation. It was.

I have to tell you, though, that if all I had were KR808s forever I don't know if i would have stayed smoke-free this long. The iGo, and now the ECHO-E, have given me the time and freedom to enjoy life again. Those little e-cigs took too much time and effort to maintain. It took some serious mental adjustment to switch to a larger e-cig but once I made that leap I've been a lot happier.

Gaining Bill as a friend has been the icing on the cake. Love, love love him. He's a peach. :)

I thought I read somewhere on ECF that these can be cleaned up to 100x's. I'm not needing a cleaning yet but has anyone cleaned one yet that didn't work very well afterwards? Just curious. I keep my bigger cartos for clearer juices so I don't gunk them up too bad.

I've had a few that just quit working completely after cleaning that I threw away. Now I wish I would have saved them because I think the ultrasonic may have knocked the part that connects to the battery loose. I've since found that if they don't work and you turn that part 1/4 turn or so they fire back up perfectly. Ah well... live and learn.

Edited to add: I should have specified that those were iGo cartos. All my ECHO-E's have worked after cleaning so far. *finger's crossed*
