I'd do it just to start up conversations with the busy hot stewardesses.

Ummm, Joe...I'm not trying to start anything here, but my MOTHER was a "stewardess." The men and women who staff "da plane" are commonly referred to as "flight attendants." Just trying to help! LOL~

I know I dated one for 3 years who had many friends that were flight attendants . One of which was on the pentagon flight on 9/11. She was a good friend of us both. But none of them I knew minded being called stewardesses regardless. As men started becoming stewardesses they changed the name from what they all told me.

I am going to take mine on flight to st thomas island in october.. going to go to the bathroom dont know why ppl try to use them in view of ppl on the plane since you already can not bring a pair of nail clippers on the plane..

I was told when I asked about this a few months ago that the bathroom detectors are extremely sensitive. Just a heads up.

now that, that is pure genuis wondering if they'd catch on if my coffee was still steaming 6+ hours after my starting to "sip it"

The bathroom detectors are particulate detectors, I do believe. So I'd be careful. You could pull in the longest hit you possibly could, then blow it into the toilet whilst flushing - they have extremely high negative pressure and would suck the vapor right down into the holding tank.
