Hate cigarettes? I love cigarettes.

It doesn't matter if you lie to me or if you lie to yourself, we are all here for the same reason, but I say this without omission
Anyone who says I've had my electronic cig for a week and.....

Haven’t had an urge for an analog
It was sooo easy
I don't like the taste
I don't have any craving
Etc,
Etc,
Etc,

Is a liar, we are all here for the same reasons, if you're not an addict then why are you even here posting?

Unlike TB, I don't blame big tobacco for my addiction, I blame myself

But in the general hierarchy of things I blame my government the most for allowing people access to something so dangerous and addictive, then turning around and exploiting people’s addictions with taxation without representation

I don't like the taste

that's the only one i disagree with..

when i first started vaping... it was THE BOMB.. i really did lose my appetite for analogs... but i still had two packs left... and i refused to just randomly toss the expensive bastidges

the random one i would smoke during that first couple weeks really did taste godawful...

sadly.. like you.. i had some really bad luck with parts.. and ended up in the situation of being stuck going fully back for a bit...

now i'm up on my gear but DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN it's become impossible to drop the analogs again.... and they dont taste so horrible this time around either

Once again, why do you say we are lying? Of course we are addicts, there is no question about it. That is why we are vaping nicotine, right? That is why we are posting on the forum.

I think you are being just a little "ignant" as you so well stated earlier.

There are some fakes on this forum
They make it seem like you get the ecig and just stop analogs

I don't think anyone is faking. I got my e-cig and stopped smoking that day....I have not had a single cigarette since then. And I don't miss them at all....in fact I much prefer vaping to smoking. Of course, not everyone can quit like that...honestly I don't think I've quit at all, I have simply replaced one habit with another. But I do believe in my heart that e-cigs are 1000x less dangerous than analogs. Yes, Tropical Bob ;-), I know that nobody can truly be sure that is the case, but I have a hunch it is true because I simply feel better. Even though I know I am taking a risk, I tend to trust my intuition.

if you want to be successful you need to trick your brain into telling you that you hate cigarettes

I agree 100%. The only time I ever "quit" cold turkey was back in 2000. I went for 2.5 years without even a puff. It was difficult, but I wanted it so bad I made it happen. Unfortunately a single evening of excessive Jack Daniels consumption caused me to lose my good judgment and I bummed a smoke off someone. I thought after 2.5 years I was safe.....oops. It was like a switch being flipped in my mind. One minute I was a non smoker, then next day I was buying packs again......

I truly hope these e-cigs are found to be safe, and they are allowed to be sold here in the US. I will gladly vape these for the rest of my days :)

i haven't touched one since i started vaping and a i have a carton within arms reach of my desk that i smile at every once in awhile.
never again i whisper.

the memory of the experience is still there though.
driving down a country road on a warm summer morning with the window slightly cracked. the smell of a zippo lighter igniting a fresh cigarette. sprinkle in the aroma of freshly cut grass and a hot cup of coffee.

i don't doubt that nicotine has something to with the addiction, but for me it's those memories that made it so hard to quit.

Oh yes. The coffee. Don't remind me about the coffee.

You are a very brave woman. I don't think I could handle the temptation!
