starsong, the ultimate is the one that was saving money. Now instead of lowering the other kits, they just raised the price on the ultimate to put it inline with the over-priced other kits!

Here are the prices on the website today for the MaxxFusion Starter Kits:

Basic Starter Kit -- $49.95
Deluxe Starter Kit -- $69.95
Ultimate Starter Kit -- $109.95
Mini PCC Starter Kit -- $89.95

Did the first two kits listed above come down in price any? I can't remember what they were before?

Yes, the Basic used to be 59 something, however.... it is STILL cheaper to buy separates. Previously that was a $15 difference, now it's still $5 more to buy the kit. The other was 79... but I never pieced that one out. Maybe it is an improvement.

edit: that was based on the old separates prices... now I gotta go look and see if those changed too.

If the kit is $49.95 and piecing it is $45.97, then.....

I might be missing something, but here is what I get for the Basic Starter kit (now priced at $49.95) if the items are purchased separately:

$ 19.99 – MaxxFusion battery
$ 14.99 – usb/wall charger
$ 10.99 – Cartomizers
$ 45.97 Total

So, we save :2c: right?

The only thing that keeps me from getting a pass-thru is I don't want to be tethered. I can picture myself happily vaping away and get up to get a drink, forgetting I am now attached, and either hurting myself or having the laptop end up smashed on the floor.

^^
I spend a ton of time in front of the computer every day..usb passthrough what's not to love what an I missing?

Is the old regular fusion passthrough any different than the passthrough for mf?

Yeah that makes no sense at all...
I parted out my mini-pcc kit (two months ago now) and it was cheaper than buying the kit. Looks like it still is.

I'm confused, what am I missing?

Here is what I get for the MaxxFusion Mini PCC Starter Kit (priced at $ 89.95) if the items are purchased separately:

$ 34.99 - MaxxFusion PCC
$ 39.98 – (2) 65mm MaxxFusion Batteries (19.99 each)
$ 10.99 – 5 Cartomizers
$ 85.96 Total

I know it's not cheaper to buy the kit, but it's not more expensive than buying the items separately. So what do we want Bloog to fix about the starter kit prices? I think I'm missing something.

Hi Slim,
Logically when you have the ability to buy parts or kits it is set up so the kit price is less expensive then buying parts.
Especially for the newcomers convenience.
So in your example, if I was setting the prices I would put the kit price at $79.99 for example.
Quick, easy and less of a hassle.
IMO...
