Believe me, just pick some kit, your gonna wanna buy som more stuff later, anyway. Ekstra batts.. diff lengths, colour..then somfin new will pop up and youll just order and order and order........oh, a change in pcc design? i gotta have that.. and so on and so forth.. The fusion pcc sucks though, no indicator for pcc battlife, means you have to remember how many times you charged a batt in it, to know how much power is left.. Seams an easy task.. but somhow, no.

They are compatible, but not the same. The pass through doesn't have the new max switch, and I think there was something different about the chargers. I had a thread about this when i first got here and leaford chimed in.....ah, here it is:

I hear ya, I have vaped before I get why you are saying about people ordering stuff..i will just wait, I guess. I really don't want to spend money on the older stuff that's "pretty much compatible" just to wait to buy what actually works well just a short time later. I would rather wait, and shop around.

If you really just want to get started, maybe just get a couple batteries, one of the normal chargers, and some cartos. The other stuff are just nice extras, but you can get those later without stressing out about them. Meanwhile you can start enjoying the things they can ship right now. Heck I didn't even buy a charger at first cuz the USB one I had from my other kr808 worked just fine with it.

I don't want to get started I want to quit cigs. I need a few passthroughs...i need a case, I need the vehicle charger... I need my nicotine.

On a normal day I used 2 of the mini bats and one bigger one. Kept carts on me, usb pt when I was able to. I loved it. At the time I had no intention to quit cigs. Now I do.
I just want what I want. Appreciate all the advice but I am stubborn and will wait, and be a little grumpy about it. I may start to stock up on carts I guess.

I'll second the Trifecta suggestion!

I received my order this week for a basic starter kit, two extra 65mm batteries, and the trifecta. Have been using the trifecta this morning and really like it. Playing with it as a pass-through, a stand alone, on auto, and on manual. Granted, I am a total noob, but this battery is incredibly flexible. Using the manual mode on passthrough with the 16mg cartos seems to allow me to get an extra boost out of them. This is great, as I only ordered one pack of 24mg, which it turns out, I prefer.

Might I suggest that a pass through is unnecessary to quit? I have 2 bloog mini batts, the mini PCC and a 3rd 808 batt. Not once have I even needed the 3rd battery in a day, although I have used it from time to time. I really like the mini pcc. My car cell charger fits the mini-usb, so I can always charge the PCC on the go if I need to, you can pick up one of these car usb chargers on amazon for about a buck fifty.

Kush if you are interested in getting the Trifecta anyway, why not just grab 2 of them and some carts a car charger and you will be good to go. It has the cable to use like a pass thru and you can unplug it from the battery and walk around like a normal battery.

What's the deal with the Trifectas anyhow? I never see much talk about them here, other than the plug doesn't seem to fit well. Is it a hit or a miss?

Keep in mind that if you got the fusion ultimate add on kit, it comes with the car charger, but the amperage on it is less than needed for a pass through. I don't know if the trifecta's work like a PT (put the power straight from the charger to the carto), or like a battery that is charged while using. If the former, might want to get a higher amperage car charger, probably find one cheap on ebay/amazon if the bloog max is out. If it's the latter, you should be fine with it.
