Can someone help me out and tell me where I can get spare o rings for the Fresia? Thanks

Maybe a dumb question--if so, please forgive me... Did you look at the bottom of your Fresia box? You should have gotten a bag of spares.

I’m not sure what happened to it I think I might have lost it. I shoulda never took it outta the box. I’m actually trying to figure out a problem right now with my fresia. When I have time later tonight I was gonna type out a question for you guys in more detail. If you guys can help me out later I’d appreciate it. The short story is my coils that used to be .74 ohms are now reading .45 ohms and it doesn’t hit the same anymore. I’m not doing anything different than I used too including the wicking. Does anyone know what could be causing a problem like that? I get an airy hit now and the vapors not dense. I’m using coilology mtl coils 30x2/38 fused Clapton’s 6 wraps ni80. When I put this coil in my project x it reads .74 ohms. It used to read the same in my fresia than all the sudden it won’t. Anyone know how this could be happening?

Hopefully some of our more "technically" experts will chime in here, John.

I have zero KLUE!
Ok appreciate the response. I have zero clue also lol. I was gonna get new o rings and try it again and see what happens. So weird. I can’t get the continuous crackling that I used to get with thick vapor. Now all you hear is mostly air with vapor that’s not dense. I also checked the screw at the bottom and it’s real tight so that’s not the issue

Guys just a quick question while I wait for a response to the problem im having. How do you know when you need to replace o rings? Do you guys replace them every certain amount of time no matter what?

I actually hardly ever replace mine, in any atty, and only when I clearly need it. Most of mine have never yet been replaced, other than a few Erlkonigins, which I did when they began escaping out when I tightened the tank.

I do look at them, in all atties, and will replace if I see one is dried, cracked, or stretched, but vape history has been good to me so far (touch wood, as the Brits say).

Ok I gotcha. Im gonna have to start examining mine every so often to check for issues. Thanks

I just took these out of my fresia. You guys see anything wrong with these? They look fine to me. Im gonna clean everything and see if it makes a difference

I can't see anything wrong, but one can never be sure from a picture. Do you lubricate your o-rings? First when I get a new tank and take it apart for a bath; when it's dry and ready for reassembly, I put a little VG (vegetable glycerin) either on my finger or a small brush and lube all the o-rings to protect them for drying and cracking.

As for your other question about the resistance of your coil suddenly dropping like you describe--I join my learned colleagues in stating that I have no clue. Never had anything like that happen to me. Sometimes, when a wire deteriorates with use or is covered in gunk, the resistance may go up or down. Or when you're using a dual coil atty and the resistance suddenly doubles, that means the one of the coils is dead. But the same new coil reading .74 Ω in one tank and .45 Ω in another is bizarre. Sorry, above my pay grade. I use only simple single home-made coils and it's never happened to me.

Welp, I don't think we've been much help to you, John, but I will counsel this: Were I a detective on the case, and it was getting colder by the minute, I'd start from scratch.

Take it all apart, do a nice warm bath and rinse and dry, then lube the 0 ringies, and start again. Eventually, the missing link will smile and wink at you and you'll have the proverbial "AH HA!" light bulb over your head!

They look good to me too, John, but the proof is in the fit. If they're not loose or jiggling around, I'd expect them to be okay.

I've had resistance issues when the coil legs aren't trapped nicely under the screws, or the screws aren't tight enough (holding the legs). Outside of that, the only times I've had issues were with mods (such as the HCIGAR VT75s, which have wiring issues).

Yeah I already thought of the coil legs thing but its not that the legs are in fine. I ended up finding the spare o rings bag last night and replaced all the o rings and it did nothing. Im gonna take every piece apart later today and soak it and put it back together and see what happens. I appreciate you guys tryin to help

my only thought is that your reel of ni80 is actually ss316l and that's why you are getting such a low resistance reading.

But if you are using the same reel in both RTAs and getting a difference of that much with the same coil specs, then I have no clue, sorry ;)

Does anyone know the o ring size for the top glass one? Just recieved this and no spares. As soon as i tried to swap to bubble glass the oring was stuck to original glass and tore... nightmare!

Had this tank a while its ok but its too noisy for me. No one here mentions the noise it makes?

I've had louder tanks. Mine stays inside anyway so it doesn't bother me. I like the tank for the flavor and vape.

The fact that it drinks like Otis bothers me much more than the noise.
