I predict the new lava tube 2.0 will go down in history as the last of the mass market high end APVs to not offer variable wattage. (wake up Provari, don't hit the snooze button again).
I think it's a crying shame that they didn't see the boat coming and add it to the chip, because I think it's beautiful. Love the size, the design, the finishes, colours, all of it. it look so well thought out and solid and tasteful. If it had wattage it would be the one I'd be saving money for, til then, I'll make do with cheapo fall apart zmaxes and vamos.

Well, the thing with Provape though is that if they do come up with an upgrade that includes VW, there's a good chance they'll allow existing users to send in their Provari for an inexpensive upgrade.

I'm surprised nobody is mentioning the MiD. It is small, light, software controlled, and real-time VV/VW too.

The software that drives the MiD is where it truly shines--such devices are the future of high-end vaping. Total control of the vape-curve, down to a fraction of a second, across the power range.

Mid Series

I'm not convinced. No dispaly other than an LED, and it's expensive right out of the gate and they expect you to pay extra for modules to unlock additional features if you want anything more than the basics for a device whose base price is excessive anyway.

I mean, I'm kind of interested in the MiD, but there's no way in hell I'd pay that much for it plus the extra features I'd want.

Another vote for the Vamo here - Had one for just under a week and performing flawlessly so far for me

The EVIC - I'm a Gadget geek and LOVE the look of it but I'm waiting for true VW feature

The MID - looks great but as soon as I read about the pay for more features - PC software upgrade approach - I quickly showed them a two fingered salute...

I never thought I'd ever love again, but then came the Vamo :)

Sorry for you loss Phil, I know how you loved that Provari, but I'm happy that you fell in love with the Vamo, and I've done the same, since I received it I barely gave any love to my other mods (except my reos when I drive the car) and YES the Vamo is awesome for the price point and definitly a go-to mod for anyone to get.

While the Vamo is an excellent performing PV,so far,i will still stick to my Kicked Telescope(while low ended in the PV world it does the job). While the Kick can not go up to 15 watts(who uses 15 anyway) it still performs well enough.I still have my VVPV's to go to when i want something other than a Kicked PV.

Speaking as a non- techie grama I just got the VAMO acouple weeks ago and It is a winner in my book.Price is better than reasonable, solid build, and I could use it straight out of the box.No muilti menus to learn just a few basic instructions and I have a choice of battery so it can become a smaller device whenever I want.IMHO it is all a vaper could ever need.:)

Looks great, but it is twice the price for essentially the same functionality. Plus I have to say that after using a Provari for a year and now the Vamo for a few weeks I just love having the 3 buttons instead of 1.

A lot of vamo fans here ,,have you looked into the Segelai Zmax ?? it is solid !!check out pbusardo's review

For those of you that have a Vamo and are new to vv/vw, have a look at the Ohm's Law Calculator and find out what your sweet spot is.

Just type in any two know values. Normally, I like adding Voltage (E) & Resistance (R) (from your atty or carto) to find out what my preferred wattage is Watts(W).

Again, the viscosity of the e-juice plays a role, and therefore you can decrease or increase your wattage accordingly. (don't worry about the Current (I) value.)

Once you find out what wattage is your sweet stop, set it and forget it! (or until you change batteries)

actually it is very likely to be true !! check the co-ops,,evic 60$ delivered to your door
cannot find any co-ops for the eVic but seems like that would be a great hassle anyway. support our canadian vendors just be sure not to overpay the gougers. paying more than $103.00 in canada for this device is an individuals own mistake if people are getting them for $60 then all the better for them

A real review ! In english ! From pbusardo ! :p Thanks for posting this, I've been checking every day for his review.

As for the OP, some of those vendors offer free shipping. And of course different vendors do less or more business and have smaller or larger profit margins - there is always a pretty big variance in pricing, it's just that it's more apparent with one expensive device.

Canvape has free shipping over $100 and vaporgeek has free shipping over $125 (less inside of BC). I'm not sure about the other vendors, but that is another thing to consider.

I've only seen one eVic co-op for $65 + shipping, but even at that price I'm leery about picking up one at this point with all of it's problems.

Totally agree - inside the house, my ADV is on my Vamo. My ZMax is used as backup. The only thing I really do is up or down the Wattage , and it is so much easier with the 3 buttons.

I can only speak about Volcano products but I have the chrome LT and love it. Don't know anything about how VW helps me but the LT does a nice job. Its a good company to deal with, noooob friendly website with videos how to use and maintain their products. I'm still new at vaping and my collection will grow. The vamo gets a lot of love here so I cant talk about that but the LT is nice also. I'm home all day cause of a illness and this thing is damn near glued to my lips... No wait that's the pain pills.. lol
