Hello all. Been vaping for about 6 months now and have never really had an issue. I've had various nicotine level liquids that vary in pg and vg both and minus some scratching from an 18mg liquid(duh), I've never had too many problems. I recently got a new flavor like I do every week or two and this time I got a strange feeling twice after vaping it. Skin is sensitive, loud sounds bother me and I can't think straight. It was borderline panic attack freak out and it put me in patient first. The doctor you could tell knew nothing about vaping or cared so I didn't bother explaining it. It seems like some symptoms of a pretty decent allergic reaction though. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? Has anyone ever run across a specific manufacturer of liquid that doesn't agree with their body? I do not believe this to be a moms basement made liquid as i have bought from this store many times but I guess I could be wrong. Just curious if there's any info out there or anyone that has had this happen before. Thanks!

Could be someone made a mistake with Nic level. Could be a flavoring. My wife was getting sores in her mouth. Changed her driptip to plastic and all was better. Her other vape drip tip is metal and never a problem with that drip tip. Can sometime just be the simplest things. I would find out what is in that juice for flavoring and if they wont tell you find a new juice company that will tell you. CHEERS!

I'd say you are allergic to a certain flavor used in that eliquid or you've began having anxiety/panic attacks that were just coincidentally in line with buying a new juice. Anxiety can show it's ugly head at anytime in a person's life. I'd eliminate that flavor of juice and try relaxing to calm your anxiety.

Good luck.

For the most part, it sounds like a high Nic and over vaping. Did you happen to like the flavor and vape more frequently than usual?

Do you have any Allergies you are aware of?

I often wonder if people pointed to Smoking every time they had a health issue. o_O

I don't think it was anxiety. I have anxiety and have been dealing with it for my whole life and am pretty good at knowing when it is affecting my daily routine. This was reaction and my main question was if the reaction could be from just this specific type of juice when I've never had problems with ANY juice before. The nic level was 6mg and I have been vaping on that for months just fine. I may have had an anxiety attack but it would have been because I couldn't figure out what I was having a reaction from. I think I will just eliminate this kind of juice and I just wanted to know if anyone has had a certain kind of juice before that gave them problems.

There could have been a mistake made during production. Without testing the juice using a Test Kit you cannot be sure. There was also a thread on here about someone in Asia who got bad flavoring. I forget the details.

I think you're right-- avoid that brand & see what develops.

None of your symptoms are normally indicitive of an allergy: hives, swollen lips/ throat/face/tongue, trouble breathing/wheezing, anaphalaxis. Now that doesn't mean vaping didn't cause it, but if this happened to me I would be back to the doctor asking what else might cause these symptoms and what tests I need. Hope you find out and feel better.

Was there a change in type of atomizer? Some can enhance the nicotine and cause reactions similar.

Is this flavor a particular fruit or maybe mint? Some people have reaction to mints that cause welts and itching that can be very irritating to your system.

It definitely has signs of an allergy, so stop using it and go back to something you know you had no problems with.

Also the itching and the discomfort probably brought on a mild anxiety attack .

I get all those symptoms " Skin is sensitive, loud sounds bother me and I can't think straight" when Im stressed out and these days its just about anything, the thought of going out, going in a car, doing match, a new atomizer, a new wire or build. I start to itch and my mind just spins.
