FYI: The recipe for 'Apple Buttah' was named the winner of the DIY or Die impromptu mixing competition. I made it, it's delicious (significant other made me make a larger batch today), and it's perfectly timed for autumn in Michigan ....

Totally diggen the pictures you're posting with your recipes.
What percentages of the flavors are you using?
I get that they are all equal parts but would below work? Too much or too little?
White Chocolate (FW) 4%
Strawberries and Cream (FW) 4%

there are diketone free versions. I am liking cap's v2 VC.

i have a bit of trouble with CAP for some reason, but love their flavors, may try that on a low %

Interesting, I had read a while back that vanilla swirl is basically vanilla bean ice cream without the bad stuff.
I've been using in place of vanilla bean ever since.
Just food for thought.
I try not to get too hung up on it .

I read Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is Custard without the diactyle and that Vanilla Swirl has diacetyle, check TFA for details.
Sorry had it wrong, Vanilla Swirl has no bad stuff, VBIC has one bad thing.

real flavors vg line (I believe all their lines, but only the vg line has the testing posted so far) are diketone free also and their VC get's great reviews.

That would make 16% so would say good amounts

no warnings for vanilla swirl on BCF or the recipe site

I think Vanilla Swirl is supposed to be TFA's V2 of their Vanilla Custard, since there is no "DX Vanilla Custard".

Ok, I had it wrong, Vanilla Swirl has no bad stuff, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream has one bad thing, but not diacetyl. TFA does have some flavors now that removed the bad stuff, I need to try those!

The VC doesn't appear to be diketone free, but that wouldn't stop me from trying it. What is stopping me is their lack of a 10 ml size option. I can't do 10 bucks per 2 oz of flavoring I may not like and will never use. If they ever decide to start selling 10 ml, I'll go hog wild and try their entire line.

oh good catch, I guess I need to actually look more closely at all of their flavors I am considering.

I use them all. The amounts are so small I, personally, don't believe it would be harmful. But as a former smoker, I'm so thankful for the other 4000 things I no longer inhale I shall indulge.

this. I try and stay away from diacetyl thanks to the propaganda I read about it before coming here but since coming here and learning that a cigarette contains exponentially more diketones than vape liquid/flavors if something I buy has it in it I am not going to just toss it out. This, coming from someone with asthma that was diagnosed as 'allergic' to cigarettes yet smoked them for 20+ years.
